강원특별자치도평창교육지원청(교육장 김금숙)은 제45회 스승의 날을 맞아 5월 15일(금) 오후 2시 30분, 평창교육지원청 2층 다목적회의실에서 ‘제45회 스승의 날 유공교원 표창장 수여식’을 개최했다.

강원특별자치도평창교육지원청 held the “45th Teachers’ Day Distinguished Educators Award Ceremony” on Friday, May 15, at 2:30 p.m. in the multipurpose conference room on the second floor of the education office building.

이번 행사는 교육 발전에 헌신하고 교육 혁신에 공헌한 우수교원들을 포상함으로써 교원의 사기를 진작시키고, 지역사회 내에 스승 존경과 감사의 문화를 확산시키기 위해 마련되었다.

 The ceremony was organized to recognize outstanding teachers who have devoted themselves to educational advancement and innovation, while also promoting respect and appreciation for teachers throughout the local community.

이날 수여식에서는 현장에서 묵묵히 제자 사랑을 실천해 온 교원들에 대한 표창이 진행되었다. 수상자는 △장관표창 4명 △교육감표창 5명 △교육장표창 13명으로 총 22명이다.

 During the ceremony, awards were presented to teachers who have quietly dedicated themselves to nurturing and guiding students in the field of education. A total of 22 educators were honored, including four recipients of the Minister of Education Award, five recipients of the Superintendent of Education Award, and thirteen recipients of the Superintendent of Education Office Award.

이번 행사는 단순한 시상식에서 벗어나, 교원들의 수업 역량을 강화하고 정서적 힐링을 제공하기 위해 감상과 강연이 어우러진 연수 과정도 함께 운영되었다.

 Beyond a formal awards ceremony, the event also included a special training and cultural program designed to strengthen teaching competencies while offering emotional healing and inspiration for educators.

특히 ‘선진기획’ 최선진 대표가 진행한 ‘바로크 챔버 앙상블의 이해’ 강연 및 공연은 참석자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다. 또한 스승의 날 기념 교육활동 영상을 함께 감상하며 교육의 의미를 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.

 In particular, a lecture and performance titled “Understanding the Baroque Chamber Ensemble,” led by Choi Sun-jin, CEO of Seonjin Planning, received enthusiastic responses from participants. Attendees also watched a commemorative educational activity video together, reflecting on the true meaning and value of education.

아울러 평창군 지역사회는 제45회 스승의 날을 맞아 교육 현장의 헌신에 감사하는 마음을 담은 축하 현수막을 게시하며 사제 간의 정을 나누는 따뜻한 분위기를 조성하고 있다.

 In celebration of the 45th Teachers’ Day, the local community in Pyeongchang County also displayed congratulatory banners expressing gratitude for educators’ dedication, creating a warm atmosphere of appreciation between teachers and students.

#김금숙 교육장은 인사말을 통해 “어려운 교육 환경 속에서도 사명감을 가지고 아이들의 성장을 위해 헌신해 주신 선생님들께 깊은 감사를 드린다”며, “이번 표창이 선생님들의 자긍심을 높이고 학교 현장에 스승을 존경하는 긍정적인 문화가 더욱 확산되는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

 Superintendent Kim Geum-sook stated in her congratulatory remarks, “I sincerely thank all teachers who continue to devote themselves to the growth of children with a strong sense of mission despite challenging educational circumstances,” adding, “I hope this recognition will enhance teachers’ pride and further spread a culture of respect for educators throughout our schools.”

평창교육지원청은 앞으로도 교직 문화의 긍정적인 이미지를 제고하고, 교육 내실화에 기여한 우수교원들이 사회적으로 인정받을 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.

 The Pyeongchang Office of Education stated that it will continue to support initiatives that enhance the positive image of the teaching profession and ensure that outstanding educators contributing to quality education receive broader social recognition.
