철원교육지원청 제29대 최일호 교육장 취임… “학생·학교·지역 상생 철원교육 실현”

철원교육지원청(교육장 최일호)은 3월 3일(화) 오전 10시 청사 3층 강당에서 제29대 최일호 교육장 취임식을 개최했다.

The Cheorwon Office of Education (Superintendent Choi Il-ho) held the inauguration ceremony of its 29th Superintendent at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in the auditorium on the third floor of the office building.

최일호 교육장은 취임식에 앞서 현충탑을 참배하며 공식 일정을 시작했다.

Prior to the ceremony, Superintendent Choi began his official schedule by paying tribute at the Memorial Tower.

최일호 교육장은 도계고등학교, 춘천교육대학교, 고려대학교 대학원을 졸업하고 화전초등학교에서 교직을 시작했다. 이후 △황지초, 태서초, 치악초, 교동초, 둔내초 교사로 근무했으며 △춘천평생교육정보관, 영월교육지원청, 강원특별자치도교육청에서 장학사·교육연구사로 활동했다. 또한 △남원주초 교감 △신림초, 섬강초 교장 △강원특별자치도교육청 교육과정과 장학관을 역임한 뒤 2026년 3월 철원교육지원청 교육장에 취임했다.

Superintendent Choi graduated from Dogye High School, Chuncheon National University of Education, and the Graduate School of Korea University. He began his teaching career at Hwajeon Elementary School. He later served as a teacher at Hwangji, Taeseo, Chiak, Gyodong, and Dunnae Elementary Schools, and worked as a supervisor and education researcher at the Chuncheon Lifelong Education Information Center, the Yeongwol Office of Education, and the Gangwon State Office of Education. He also served as vice principal of Namwonju Elementary School, principal of Sinlim and Seomgang Elementary Schools, and director-level supervisor in the Curriculum Division of the Gangwon State Office of Education before assuming office as Superintendent of the Cheorwon Office of Education in March 2026.

#최일호 교육장은 취임사를 통해 “학생 한 명 한 명의 가능성을 키우는 따뜻한 교육, 학교와 지역이 함께하는 협력의 교육 생태계를 조성하겠다”며 “현장의 목소리를 경청하고, 소통과 신뢰를 바탕으로 모두가 함께 성장하는 철원교육을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

In his inaugural address, Superintendent Choi stated, “I will foster a warm educational environment that nurtures the potential of every student and build a collaborative educational ecosystem where schools and the local community grow together.” He added, “By listening carefully to voices from the field and building communication and trust, I will create a Cheorwon education system where everyone grows together.”
