이 두 문장은 서로 다른 시대와 대륙에서 태어났지만, 같은 방향을 가리킵니다. 세상은 넓고, 기회는 준비된 자의 몫이라는 진리. 이제 그 진리를, 강원의 청소년들에게도 온전히 전해줄 때입니다. 

These two statements were born in different eras and continents, yet they point in the same direction. The truth is this: the world is vast, and opportunity belongs to those who are prepared. It is now time to pass that truth on fully to the youth of Gangwon.

강원도는 사계절이 빚어낸 풍경과 깊은 문화의 결을 품은 땅입니다. 그러나 교육의 기회만큼은, 여전히 수도권의 높은 벽에 가로막혀 있습니다. 많은 청소년들이 더 넓은 세상을 꿈꾸지만, 그 꿈을 실현할 글로벌 스탠다드 교육을 만날 기회는 드뭅니다. 

Gangwon is a land blessed with landscapes shaped by the four seasons and a rich cultural heritage. Yet in terms of educational opportunities, it still faces the high wall of the Seoul metropolitan area. Many young people dream of a wider world, but rarely have the chance to experience a truly global standard of education.

What we must create is not simply a “good school,” but an environment where young people dream on a global stage, take on challenges, and do not fear failure. IB education can be the key to unlocking that environment.

강원의 청소년들이 더 이상 ‘지역’이라는 울타리에 갇히지 않고, 세계 어디서든 어깨를 펴고 살아가길 바랍니다. 그 시작은, 지금 우리가 내리는 교육의 선택에 달려 있습니다.
