Chuncheon Emerging as a Global Sports City

This year, Chuncheon has successfully hosted major international sports events including the International Taekwondo Championships, the Davis Cup, and the AFC Champions League.

Through this tournament, the city aims to enhance its reputation as an international hub of youth sports diplomacy, where the next generation connects through sport.

A city official stated, “Chuncheon will continue building a city where young people from around the world unite through sports.”
