한국의료마이스터고등학교(교장 김진락)는 8월 31일 ㈜엠디써트(대표 신상호)와 의료기기 산업 분야의 맞춤형 전문 인재를 양성하기 위한 산학협력 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

Korea Medical Meister High School, led by Principal Kim Jin-rak, signed an industry–academia cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with MDCERT, headed by CEO Shin Sang-ho, on August 31 to foster professionals with specialized skills tailored to the medical device industry.

이번 협약은 세계적으로 의료기기 관련 규제가 강화되는 추세에 발맞춰 실무 역량을 갖춘 차세대 품질경영·인허가(QA/RA) 전문가를 조기에 발굴하고 양성하기 위해 추진됐다.

 The agreement was established to identify and nurture the next generation of quality assurance and regulatory affairs (QA/RA) professionals with practical expertise amid the global strengthening of medical device regulations.

◦ 협약식에는 한국의료마이스터고등학교 교장과 교직원, 지원 대상 학생들을 비롯해 ㈜엠디써트 신상호 대표, 윤태경 본부장, 김희준 본부장이 참석했다.

◦ Attendees included the principal, faculty members, and participating students of Korea Medical Meister High School, along with MDCERT CEO Shin Sang-ho and division heads Yoon Tae-kyung and Kim Hee-jun.

협약식과 함께 열린 전달식에서 ㈜엠디써트는 미래 의료기기 산업을 이끌어갈 우수 인재 육성을 위해 한국의료마이스터고등학교에 장학금 100만 원을 전달했다.

During a presentation ceremony held alongside the signing, MDCERT donated a KRW 1 million scholarship to Korea Medical Meister High School to support outstanding students who will lead the future medical device industry.

◦ 또한 ‘글로벌 의료기기 품질 인재 양성 후원’ 프로그램을 통해 학생 3명에게 총 300만 원 상당의 ‘ISO 13485 국제심사원 양성과정’ 교육과 자격 취득을 지원했다.

◦ Through its “Global Medical Device Quality Talent Development Sponsorship Program,” the company also provided three students with ISO 13485 international auditor training and qualification support worth a total of KRW 3 million.

ISO 13485는 의료기기의 제조와 공급 전 과정에서 안전성과 유효성을 보장하기 위한 국제 품질경영시스템 표준이다.

 ISO 13485 is an international quality management system standard designed to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical devices throughout the manufacturing and supply process.

◦ 이번 후원 프로그램에서는 국제공인 심사원 등록기관인 IQCS가 자격 등록 연회비 전액을 후원했다. 교육과 시험을 성공적으로 마친 한국의료마이스터고등학교 학생 김민재, 이주찬, 정소은 등 3명은 국제공인 ISO 13485 심사원(보) 자격을 취득하는 성과를 거뒀다.

◦ As part of the program, IQCS, an internationally recognized auditor registration body, fully sponsored the annual qualification registration fees. Three students—Kim Min-jae, Lee Ju-chan, and Jeong So-eun—successfully completed the training and examination and earned internationally recognized ISO 13485 provisional auditor qualifications.

◦ 학생들은 고등학교 재학 중 취득하기 어려운 국제 전문 자격을 조기에 확보함으로써 향후 의료기기 QA/RA 분야에서의 취업 경쟁력이 크게 높아질 것으로 기대된다.

◦ By obtaining an international professional qualification that is rarely earned while still in high school, the students are expected to significantly strengthen their future employment prospects in the medical device QA/RA field.

#김진락 교장은 “전문 컨설팅 기업과 자격 등록기관의 적극적인 후원 덕분에 학생들이 값진 자격을 취득했다”며 “앞으로도 산업 현장과 긴밀히 연계된 전문 인재 양성 프로그램을 지속해서 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Principal Kim Jin-rak said, “Thanks to the active support of a professional consulting firm and an auditor registration body, our students were able to earn these valuable qualifications. We will continue expanding professional talent development programs closely connected to the needs of industry.”
