강삼영 교육감 당선인, 핵심 참모진 인선 발표

강삼영 강원도교육감 당선인은 7월 1일 민선 5기 강원교육 출범을 앞두고 교육 비전 실현과 공약 이행을 뒷받침할 핵심 참모진 인선을 확정해 발표했다.

비서실장에는 김세호 횡성 우천중학교 교장(인수위원)이, 대변인에는 정은숙 강원학생교육원 교육연구사(인수위 대변인)가 각각 내정됐다.

○ 김세호 비서실장 내정자는 교사와 교육전문직, 학교 관리자를 두루 거치며 풍부한 현장 경험과 행정 역량을 쌓아온 교육 전문가다. 특히 교육감 직속으로 신설될 교권보호지원단 등 핵심 정책 과제를 안정적으로 추진하며 교육감을 밀착 보좌할 적임자로 평가받는다.

○ 정은숙 대변인 내정자는 교육 현장과 정책에 대한 높은 이해를 바탕으로 강원교육의 비전과 정책을 도민과 언론에 쉽고 정확하게 전달하는 소통창구 역할을 맡게 된다.

이와 함께 정책협력관에는 남상백 당선인 지원실장, 정무협력관에는 이광희 전 정무특보, 공약추진단 담당에는 이준희 전 강원교육연구원 연구팀장이 각각 지명됐다.

또한 시민과의 소통과 숙의 기반 정책 참여를 확대하기 위해 비서실과 별도로 시민참여단 TF를 구성한다. 이 TF는 최근순 비단병풍사회적협동조합 이사장이 맡아 도민 의견 수렴을 지원할 예정이다.

이번 인선은 학교 현장 중심의 교육행정과 정책 실행력 강화, 그리고 도민 참여 확대라는 강삼영 당선인의 철학을 반영한 것으로 평가된다. 교육·정책·정무·소통 기능을 유기적으로 연결해 민선 5기 강원교육의 안정적인 출범과 공약 이행에 속도를 낼 계획이다.

#강삼영 당선인은 "이번 인선은 학교 현장을 잘 이해하고 강원교육의 변화를 함께 만들어갈 인재들을 중심으로 이뤄졌다"며 "교권 회복과 강한 학력, 빛나는 진로 등 도민과 약속한 정책을 차질 없이 추진해 신뢰받는 강원교육을 만들겠다"고 밝혔다.

한편, 이번에 내정된 참모진은 7월 1일 교육감 취임과 동시에 공식 업무를 시작해 민선 5기 강원교육의 안정적인 출범을 지원할 예정이다.

Gang Sam-young, Governor-elect of the Gangwon Office of Education, announced the appointment of his key senior staff ahead of the launch of the 5th elected administration on July 1, aiming to ensure the successful implementation of his educational vision and campaign promises.

#Kim Se-ho, Principal of Ucheon Middle School in Hoengseong and a member of the Transition Committee, has been appointed Chief of Staff, while Jung Eun-sook, an education researcher at the Gangwon Student Education Institute and spokesperson for the Transition Committee, has been named Spokesperson.

○ Chief of Staff-designate Kim Se-ho is an experienced education professional who has served as a teacher, educational administrator, and school principal. He is expected to play a key role in supporting the Superintendent and leading major initiatives, including the newly established Teacher Rights Protection Support Team, which will report directly to the Superintendent.

○ Spokesperson-designate Jung Eun-sook will serve as the primary communication bridge between the Gangwon Office of Education, local residents, and the media, delivering educational policies and the administration's vision with clarity and transparency.

Nam Sang-baek as Director for Policy Cooperation

Lee Gwang-hee, former Political Affairs Advisor, as Director for Political Affairs

Lee Jun-hee, former Research Team Leader at the Gangwon Education Research Institute, as Head of the Campaign Promise Implementation Team

 To strengthen citizen participation and public dialogue, a separate Citizen Participation Task Force (TF) will also be established. The TF will be led by Choi Geun-soon, Chairperson of the Bidan Folding Screen Social Cooperative, and will focus on gathering public opinions and expanding civic engagement in education policy.

 The appointments reflect Governor-elect Gang's philosophy of field-oriented educational administration, stronger policy execution, and broader public participation. By integrating policy, administration, political affairs, and communication, the new leadership team aims to ensure a stable transition and accelerate the implementation of key educational commitments.

 Governor-elect Gang stated:

"These appointments were made with individuals who deeply understand the realities of our schools and are committed to building a better future for Gangwon education. We will faithfully deliver on our promises—including restoring teachers' rights, strengthening academic excellence, and expanding career opportunities—to build an education system that earns the trust of our citizens."

The newly appointed senior staff will officially assume their duties on July 1, the day of the Superintendent's inauguration, supporting the smooth launch of the 5th elected Gangwon Education Administration.
