주민직선 5기 강원특별자치도교육감직인수위원회(위원장 구재승)는 6월 11일 전체 협의회를 개최하고 강원특별자치도교육청의 주요 정책사업과 업무 전반에 대한 본격적인 검토 작업에 착수했다.

 The Transition Committee for the 5th Elected Superintendent of Education in Gangwon State, chaired by Gu Jae-seung, convened a full committee meeting on June 11 and officially launched a comprehensive review of major education policies and administrative operations within the Gangwon State Office of Education.

이날 인수위원회는 강삼영 교육감 당선인의 교육 비전인 「모두가 빛나는 강원교육」 실현을 목표로 정책과 조직 운영 전반을 면밀히 점검하고, 도민이 체감할 수 있는 교육 혁신의 기반을 마련하겠다는 방향을 공유했다.

 During the meeting, committee members reaffirmed their commitment to realizing Superintendent-elect Kang Sam-young’s vision of “Education in Gangwon Where Everyone Shines,” while carefully reviewing policies and organizational structures to establish a foundation for meaningful educational innovation.

또한 각 분과위원회는 당선인의 핵심 공약을 구체적인 정책으로 발전시키는 작업에 착수했다. 인수위원회는 공약을 단순한 구호가 아닌 실질적인 정책으로 구현하기 위해 목적과 추진 방향, 실행 전략 등을 체계적으로 정비해 나갈 계획이다.

 Each subcommittee also began translating the superintendent-elect’s key campaign pledges into actionable education policies. The committee emphasized that campaign promises must evolve beyond slogans into practical and measurable initiatives with clear objectives and implementation strategies.

특히 인수위원회는 12일 강원특별자치도교육청으로부터 2026년도 본예산 및 추가경정예산 사업설명서를 공식 전달받아 기존 정책사업에 대한 전면적인 스크리닝 작업에 돌입할 예정이다.

□ On June 12, the committee will officially receive detailed budget documents covering the 2026 main budget and supplementary budget plans, marking the beginning of a full-scale screening process for existing education programs.

이번 검토는 사업의 효과성과 지속 가능성, 예산 투입 대비 성과 등을 종합적으로 분석하는 데 중점을 두며, 향후 강원교육 정책 방향을 설정하는 핵심 기초자료로 활용될 예정이다.

 The review will focus on evaluating program effectiveness, sustainability, and return on public investment, providing critical data for shaping the future direction of education policy in Gangwon State.

1차 집중 검토 대상은 ▲강원학생진단평가 ▲스스로 공부하는 학교 정책(중등) ▲더키움 프로그램(초등) ▲특성화고 재구조화 ▲농촌유학 운영 현황 등 학생 성장과 교육 경쟁력 강화에 직결된 주요 사업들이다.

 The first round of reviews will focus on key initiatives directly related to student development and educational competitiveness, including the Gangwon Student Diagnostic Assessment, Self-Directed Learning School Policy for Secondary Education, The-Kium Program for Elementary Schools, Vocational High School Restructuring, and Rural Schooling Programs.

인수위원회는 단순한 사업 현황 보고에 그치지 않고 예산 집행의 적정성과 정책 효과성을 면밀히 검증할 방침이며, 필요할 경우 추가 자료 제출도 요청할 계획이다.

 The committee intends to move beyond routine reporting by closely examining budget execution and policy effectiveness, while requesting additional documentation whenever necessary.

#구재승 인수위원장은 “이번 검토는 모든 사업을 원점에서 재검토하겠다는 의미가 아니라 학생의 성장과 교육의 질 향상이라는 관점에서 정책의 효과성을 살펴보기 위한 과정”이라며 “업무보고회를 통해 현장의 목소리와 정책 성과를 충분히 검토하고, 모두가 빛나는 강원교육의 청사진을 구체화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Chairman Gu Jae-seung stated, “This review is not intended to restart every project from scratch, but rather to carefully assess policy effectiveness through the lens of student growth and educational quality. Through upcoming briefings, we will thoroughly examine field perspectives and policy outcomes while shaping a practical roadmap for an education system where everyone can shine.”
