Danish Rybners Climate Business School Delegation Visits Korea Energy Meister High School

한국에너지마이스터고등학교(교장 김영수)는 6월 8일, 덴마크의 대표적인 직업교육기관인 Rybners Climate Business School 대표단이 학교를 방문해 글로벌 녹색 전환(Green Transition) 시대를 이끌 기술인재 양성과 직업교육 혁신 방안에 대해 논의했다고 밝혔다.

Korea Energy Meister High School (Principal Kim Young-soo) announced that a delegation from Denmark’s renowned Rybners Climate Business School visited the campus on June 8 to discuss vocational education innovation and the development of skilled professionals who will lead the era of Green Transition.

이번 방문은 주한 덴마크 대사관 산하 이노베이션센터 주관으로 추진됐다. 탄소중립과 에너지 전환 시대를 대비한 대한민국 마이스터고 교육 모델과 산업현장 중심의 실습교육 시스템을 직접 살펴보고, 양국 간 교육 협력 가능성을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

The visit was organized by the Innovation Centre Denmark under the Embassy of Denmark in Korea. The purpose was to explore Korea’s Meister High School model and industry-oriented practical training system designed to prepare students for carbon neutrality and energy transition, while identifying opportunities for educational collaboration between the two countries.

덴마크 에스비에르(Esbjerg)에 위치한 Rybners Climate Business School은 풍력발전, 전력기술, 자동화 분야 전문인력을 양성하는 덴마크 최고의 직업교육기관 중 하나로 평가받고 있다.

Located in Esbjerg, Denmark, Rybners Climate Business School is recognized as one of the country’s leading vocational institutions, specializing in training professionals in wind energy, electrical technology, and industrial automation.

대표단은 올라프 뤼(Olaf Rye) 최고경영자(CEO), 마이클 매티센(Michael Mathiesen) 이사회 의장, 디테 바이세(Ditte Veise) 주한 덴마크 대사관 이노베이션센터 총괄디렉터 등 9명의 교육 및 녹색기술 분야 핵심 관계자로 구성됐다.

The delegation included nine key figures in vocational education and green technology, including CEO Olaf Rye, Board Chairman Michael Mathiesen, and Ditte Veise, Director of Innovation Centre Denmark in Korea.

대표단은 한국에너지마이스터고의 에너지 특화 교육과정과 산업 수요에 대응하는 교육 시스템을 둘러보며 다양한 분야에서 의견을 교환했다.

The delegation reviewed the school’s specialized energy curriculum and its responsive education system designed to meet evolving industry demands, engaging in extensive discussions across multiple areas.

주요 논의 내용은 ▲탄소중립 시대를 대비한 에너지 기술 교육과정 ▲산업체와 연계한 취업 및 산학협력 시스템 ▲디지털 트윈과 시뮬레이션 기반 실습교육 ▲교원의 기술 역량 강화 및 재교육 체계 등이다.

Key discussion topics included energy technology education for the carbon-neutral era, industry-linked employment and partnership programs, digital twin and simulation-based practical training, and teacher upskilling systems aligned with technological advancements.

CEO Olaf Rye remarked, “The structured training environment and industry-tailored curriculum at Korea Energy Meister High School are truly impressive. We hope continued collaboration between Denmark’s dual vocational education system and Korea’s Meister High School model will help nurture future leaders of the global green industry.”

Principal Kim Young-soo stated, “It is a meaningful achievement that a leading vocational education institution from Denmark has recognized the excellence of Meister education in Gangwon and visited our school. We will continue expanding partnerships with outstanding overseas institutions and strengthen our students’ global competencies through exchange programs and international cooperation.”

한국에너지마이스터고는 이번 국제 교류를 계기로 미래 에너지 산업을 선도할 글로벌 기술 인재 양성의 거점으로 자리매김하며, 대한민국 직업교육의 우수성을 세계에 알리는 새로운 모델을 만들어가고 있다.

Through this international exchange, Korea Energy Meister High School is further establishing itself as a center for cultivating global energy professionals and showcasing the excellence of Korea’s vocational education system to the world.
