Samcheok Senior Welfare Center and KOMIPO Samcheok Bitdream Headquarters Sign Community Cooperation Agreement

삼척시노인복지관(관장 엄기대)은 5월 12일 한국남부발전㈜ 삼척빛드림본부(본부장 임경규)와 지역공동체 상생발전 및 노인복지 증진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

 On May 12, the Samcheok Senior Welfare Center (Director Eom Gi-dae) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Southern Power Co. (KOMIPO) Samcheok Bitdream Headquarters (Director Lim Kyung-gyu) to promote community coexistence and enhance senior welfare.

이번 협약은 지역 어르신들의 삶의 질 향상과 지역사회 연계 강화를 목표로 추진됐으며, 양 기관은 복지·문화·체육 분야에서 다양한 협력사업을 공동으로 추진하기로 했다.

 The agreement was designed to improve the quality of life for senior citizens and strengthen local community networks, with both organizations agreeing to jointly promote various welfare, cultural, and sports-related projects.

특히 양 기관은 삼척시 어르신 대상 복지 프로그램을 공동 기획·운영하고, 삼척빛드림본부가 보유한 원덕한마음스포츠센터의 시설 개방 확대와 활용 지원에도 적극 협력할 계획이다.

 In particular, the two organizations plan to jointly develop and operate welfare programs for seniors in Samcheok while also expanding public access to the Wondeok Hanmaeum Sports Center operated by the Samcheok Bitdream Headquarters.

또한 지역밀착형 미디어·문화예술 활성화를 위한 시니어 육영사업 추진과 상호 협력 체계 구축에도 뜻을 함께했다.

 They also agreed to cooperate on senior education initiatives and community-based media and cultural arts projects aimed at revitalizing local cultural activities.

#엄기대 관장은 “이번 협약이 삼척시 어르신들께 실질적인 도움이 되길 바라며, 양 기관이 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.

 Director Eom Gi-dae stated, “We hope this agreement will provide meaningful support for seniors in Samcheok and serve as an opportunity for both organizations to grow together with the local community.”

#임경규 본부장은 “앞으로도 지역과 상생하는 공공기관의 역할을 충실히 수행하며 지역발전에 지속적으로 힘을 보태겠다”라고 전했다.

 Director Lim Kyung-gyu said, “We will continue fulfilling our role as a public institution that grows together with the local community and contribute steadily to regional development.”

양 기관은 이번 협약을 계기로 지역 공동체 상생 모델을 더욱 강화하고, 다양한 협력사업을 통해 지역사회에 긍정적인 변화를 확산해 나갈 계획이다.

 Through this agreement, both organizations plan to strengthen a model of community coexistence and spread positive changes across the region through various collaborative projects.
