“찻집 하루로 300만원 모았다”…동해 여성들, 한부모 가정 위해 ‘기적의 나눔’

동해시여성단체협의회는 경제적 어려움을 겪는 한부모 가정을 돕기 위해 4월 24일 성금 300만원을 동해시에 기탁했다.

The Donghae City Women’s Organizations Council donated 3 million KRW to Donghae City on April 24 to support single-parent families facing economic hardship.

이번 성금은 동해시여성단체협의회 17개 단체 회원들이 지난 4월 16일 복지 사각지대에 놓인 한부모 가정을 돕고자 개최한 ‘한부모 가정돕기 일일찻집’의 수익금으로 마련됐으며, 전액 한부모 가정 자녀의 교육비와 생활 지원에 사용될 예정이다.

The donation was raised through proceeds from a one-day charity tea house event held on April 16 by members of 17 affiliated organizations. The event aimed to support single-parent families in welfare blind spots, and the entire fund will be used for education expenses and living support for their children.

동해시여성단체협의회는 1982년 창립 후 690여 명의 회원이 활동하고 있으며, 양성평등 문화 확산과 4대 폭력 예방 활동, 지역행사 참여 등 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 이어오며 지역사회 나눔 문화 확산에 앞장서고 있다.

Since its establishment in 1982, the Council has grown to approximately 690 members. It has been actively contributing to the community by promoting gender equality, preventing the four major types of violence, and participating in local events, leading efforts to expand a culture of sharing.

#김행숙 회장은 “회원들의 정성을 모아 마련한 성금이 한부모 가정에 작은 도움이 되길 바라며, 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 나눔 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Chairperson Kim Haeng-suk stated, “We hope this donation, gathered through the heartfelt efforts of our members, will provide meaningful support to single-parent families. We will continue to engage in sharing and community service activities moving forward.”
