“Protecting the Golden Time”… Samcheok City Launches Emergency Patient Transport Cost Support

삼척시가 응급상황 발생 시 시민들의 경제적 부담을 덜고 신속한 의료 서비스를 제공하기 위해 응급환자 이송비 지원을 본격화한다.

 Samcheok is launching a support program for emergency patient transport costs to reduce citizens’ financial burden and ensure faster access to medical services in emergency situations.

이번 지원은 응급환자가 도내 응급의료기관에서 종합병원 등으로 이송될 때 발생하는 구급차 이용료를 지원하여 시민의 생명을 보호하고 복리를 증진하기 위해 마련됐다.

 This program is designed to support ambulance transportation fees when emergency patients are transferred from local emergency medical institutions to general or tertiary hospitals, helping protect lives and enhance public welfare.

지원 대상은 이송일 현재 삼척시에 주민등록을 둔 시민과 6개월 이상 거주한 외국인이다. 도내 응급의료기관에서 종합병원이나 상급종합병원으로 이송되는 경우에 한해 구급차 이용료를 지원받을 수 있다.

 Eligible applicants include residents registered in Samcheok at the time of transport and foreign residents who have lived in the city for more than six months. The subsidy applies only when patients are transferred within the province from emergency medical centers to general or advanced hospitals.

지원 금액은 1건당 최대 20만 원이며, 연간 개인별로 총 2회까지 지원한다. 지원 비율은 대상자에 따라 차등 적용되는데, 기초생활수급자는 이용료의 100%, 그 외 시민은 50%를 지원한다.

 The support covers up to 200,000 KRW per case, with a maximum of two cases per person annually. The coverage rate varies: 100% for basic livelihood security recipients and 50% for other citizens.

지원금 신청은 환자 본인 또는 보호자가 이송일로부터 12개월 이내에 할 수 있다. 특히 2025년 1월 1일 이후 발생한 이송 건에 대해서도 소급 적용이 가능하도록 하여 더 많은 시민이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 했다.

 Applications can be submitted by the patient or their guardian within 12 months from the date of transport. Notably, the program is retroactively applicable to cases occurring after January 1, 2025, allowing more residents to benefit.

신청을 원하는 시민은 이송지원금 신청서, 주민등록등본, 이송처치료 영수증, 출동 및 처치 기록지 등 증빙서류를 갖추어 삼척시보건소 보건정책과 의약팀으로 방문 신청하면 된다. 보건소는 서류 검토를 거쳐 신청일 기준 30일 이내에 지원금을 지급할 계획이다.

 Applicants should visit the Samcheok Public Health Center with required documents, including the application form, resident registration certificate, transport fee receipt, and ambulance service records. After review, the subsidy will be provided within 30 days from the application date.
