“강원교육 대전환 신호탄…교육감 직속 ‘확대 간부회의’ 전격 가동, 현장 중심 교육행정 본격화”

강원특별자치도교육청은 도교육청과 교육지원청, 직속기관 간 정책 소통과 협업을 강화하기 위해 4월 6일(월), ‘2026년 확대 간부회의’를 운영했다.

이번 회의에는 교육감과 부교육감을 비롯해 도교육청 국·관·과장, 직속기관장, 교육장 등이 참석해 학기 초 주요 교육정책과 사업 추진 상황, 교육과정 운영 현안을 공유했다.

또한 이번 회의를 통해 교육정책 집행의 일관성을 높이고, 학교 현장 지원 중심의 행정체계를 더욱 강화할 계획이다.

확대 간부회의는 강원교육의 비전과 핵심 가치를 공유하고, 학교 현장의 교육과정 운영 현안에 공동 대응할 수 있는 정책 공유 시스템 구축을 목적으로 추진됐다.

올해 확대 간부회의는 총 3회 운영될 예정이며, 연초 회의는 2026년 1월 12일 열린 기관장 협의회로 대체됐다. 1학기 회의는 4월 6일 개최됐으며, 2학기 회의는 9월 중 도교육청 대회의실에서 열릴 예정이다.

이번 회의에서는 2026년 교육감 직속기관 및 교육지원청 방문 결과를 공유하고, 학기 초 교육정책과 사업의 학교 현장 적용 및 안착 상황을 점검했다.

아울러 강원 청렴정책 공유 및 실천 다짐, 교육과정 운영 현안, 주요 교육정책 추진 상황 등에 대해서도 심도 있는 논의가 이뤄졌다.

도교육청은 이번 확대 간부회의를 통해 정책 집행의 일관성을 강화하고, 학교 현장 중심의 행정 지원 체계를 한층 더 고도화할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

또한 기관 간 협업 기반을 강화하고, 현안을 공동으로 해결하는 정책 공유 플랫폼을 구축해 교육행정의 효율성을 높여 나갈 방침이다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education held its “2026 Expanded Executive Meeting” on April 6 to enhance policy communication and collaboration among the provincial office, local education offices, and affiliated institutions.

The meeting was attended by the Superintendent and Vice Superintendent, along with senior officials including bureau directors, division heads, heads of affiliated institutions, and superintendents of local education offices. Participants shared updates on major education policies, project implementation status, and key issues related to curriculum operation at the beginning of the academic year.

Through this meeting, the office aims to improve consistency in policy execution and further strengthen an administrative system focused on supporting schools in the field.

The Expanded Executive Meeting is designed to share the vision and core values of Gangwon education and establish a policy-sharing system that enables joint responses to issues arising in school curriculum operations.

The meeting will be held three times this year. The first session of the year was substituted by a heads-of-institutions meeting held on January 12, 2026. The first-semester meeting took place on April 6, and the second-semester meeting is scheduled for September at the main conference hall of the provincial office.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the results of visits to affiliated institutions and local education offices conducted by the Superintendent in 2026, and assessed how education policies and projects are being applied and settled in schools at the beginning of the semester.

In addition, discussions covered integrity policies in Gangwon education, commitments to ethical practices, curriculum operation issues, and the progress of major education initiatives.

The provincial office expects that the meeting will strengthen policy consistency and further enhance a field-oriented administrative support system.

It also plans to improve administrative efficiency by reinforcing inter-agency collaboration and establishing a shared policy platform to jointly address key issues.
