“공문 한 줄이 정책을 바꾼다”… 강원교육청, ‘국어교육’으로 보도자료 혁신 선언

강원특별자치도교육청이 공공언어 개선과 보도자료 작성 역량 강화를 위한 국어교육을 실시했다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education conducted Korean language training aimed at improving public language use and strengthening press release writing skills.

강원특별자치도교육청은 3월 25일 도교육청 6층 대강당에서 전 직원을 대상으로 ‘2026년 국어교육’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

According to the Gangwon State Office of Education, the “2026 Korean Language Training” was held on March 25 in the main auditorium on the 6th floor of the office building for all staff members.

이번 교육은 공공언어의 중요성을 이해하고 보도자료 작성 역량을 강화함으로써 행정 업무의 효율성을 높이고 홍보 효과를 극대화하기 위해 마련됐다.

The training was designed to enhance understanding of the importance of public language and to improve press release writing capabilities, thereby increasing administrative efficiency and maximizing public communication impact.

특히 이번 교육에는 연합뉴스 양지웅 기자가 강사로 참여해 보도자료와 공공언어의 개념과 유형, 보도자료의 기능과 필요성, 작성 사례 및 올바른 작성법 등을 중심으로 강의를 진행했다.

In particular, reporter Yang Ji-woong from Yonhap News Agency participated as a lecturer, delivering a session focused on the concepts and types of press releases and public language, their functions and necessity, as well as practical writing examples and guidelines.

김진규 공보담당관은 “이번 교육이 무분별한 외래어 사용을 줄이고 쉬운 우리말 사용을 확산하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “올바른 보도자료 작성을 통해 교육정책에 대한 이해와 공감을 넓혀 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kim Jin-gyu, Head of Public Relations, stated, “We hope this training will serve as an opportunity to reduce the indiscriminate use of foreign terms and promote the use of plain Korean,” adding, “Through proper press release writing, we will expand public understanding and empathy toward education policies.”

한편, 강원특별자치도교육청은 올바른 국어 사용 확산을 위해 기준을 마련하고 국어책임관 운영, 공문서 사후 점검, 보도자료 사전 점검 등 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다.

Meanwhile, the Gangwon State Office of Education is implementing various initiatives to promote proper Korean usage, including establishing language standards, operating a Korean Language Officer system, conducting post-reviews of official documents, and pre-checking press releases.
