강원 하이(hi) 하이(high)+2gether(투게더) 인성교육 본격 추진

강원특별자치도교육청은 인성교육 강화를 위해 ‘2026 강원 인성교육 시행 계획’을 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.

The Gangwon State Office of Education announced that it will fully implement the “2026 Gangwon Character Education Plan” to strengthen character education across the province.

이번 시행 계획은 ‘강원 하이(hi) 하이(high)+2gether(투게더) 인성교육’을 핵심 전략으로, 갈등과 편견·차별을 넘어 화합과 존중, 배려를 기본 가치로 하는 인성 역량 함양과 실천에 중점을 둔다.

The plan centers on the core strategy of “Gangwon Hi-High+2gether Character Education,” focusing on cultivating and practicing character competencies grounded in harmony, respect, and consideration—beyond conflict, prejudice, and discrimination.

이를 위해 △학교 인성교육의 안정화 △교원의 인성교육 역량 강화 △대전환 시대 인성교육 내용 및 방법 다양화 △맞춤형 인성교육 활성화 등 4개 영역, 8개의 중점 과제를 설정해 운영한다.

To achieve this, the Office has established four key areas and eight major tasks: △ stabilizing school-based character education △ strengthening teachers’ professional capacity △ diversifying content and methods for character education in the era of transformation △ promoting customized character education.

◦ 학교 인성교육의 안정화를 위해 교육과정에 기반한 학교별 인성교육 계획을 수립·운영하고, 이를 통해 인성교육의 내실화를 도모한다.

◦ To stabilize school character education, each school will establish and operate its own curriculum-based character education plan, enhancing the quality and effectiveness of implementation.

◦ 교원의 인성교육 역량 강화를 위해 지속적인 연수와 우수사례 발굴·확산을 추진하며, 이를 통해 교원의 전문성을 한층 높여나갈 계획이다. 또한 강원 인성교육 지원단을 운영해 학교 현장을 밀착 지원한다.

◦ To strengthen teachers’ expertise, continuous training programs and the discovery and dissemination of best practices will be promoted. In addition, a Gangwon Character Education Support Group will provide close on-site assistance to schools.

◦ 대전환 시대 인성교육 내용과 방법의 다양화를 위해 예술·체육교육, 독서·인문교육, 사회정서교육 등 주제별 인성교육 프로그램을 운영하고, 학생·학부모·교사가 함께 참여하는 인성교육을 통해 조화로운 공동체 문화 조성에 힘쓴다.

◦ To diversify character education content and methods in this era of major transformation, thematic programs such as arts and physical education, reading and humanities education, and social-emotional learning will be implemented. Programs involving students, parents, and teachers together will foster a harmonious community culture.

◦ 맞춤형 인성교육 활성화를 위해 ‘강원 인성교육 실천 학교’를 운영해 학교별 특색 있는 모델을 발굴하고, 가정 내 인성교육을 뒷받침하기 위한 효행 교육을 확대한다. 이와 함께 지역사회와 연계한 인성교육 중점 특화 기관과의 협력 프로그램을 지속적으로 추진해 교육 생태계를 더욱 공고히 할 방침이다.

◦ To promote customized character education, “Gangwon Character Education Practice Schools” will be designated to develop distinctive school models. Filial piety education will also be expanded to support character development at home. Furthermore, cooperation programs with specialized local institutions will continue in order to strengthen the overall educational ecosystem.

Song Soo-kyung, Director of the Character and Life Education Division, stated, “We will continue striving to cultivate Gangwon students equipped with the character competencies needed to lead in this era of transformation through the effective implementation of the 2026 Gangwon Hi-High+2gether Character Education initiative.”
