도민 체험단과 함께한 「특별한 여행, 특별한 사연들」 크루즈 차담회 개최

강원특별자치도(도지사 김진태)는 9월 11일, 도민 체험단과 함께하는 「특별한 여행, 특별한 사연들」 크루즈 차담회를 개최하였다. 이번 행사는 생애 처음 크루즈에 오른 도민 20여 명이 시찰단 대표와 함께 삶의 이야기를 나누며, 여행이 가진 특별한 의미를 다시금 되새기는 자리였다.

On September 11, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) hosted a cruise tea gathering titled “Special Journeys, Special Stories.” More than 20 residents embarking on their very first cruise shared their life stories with the delegation, rediscovering the profound meaning of travel.

차담회에서 도민들의 이야기는 깊은 울림을 전했다. 올해 76세인 최순자 씨는 결혼 50주년을 맞아 남편과 첫 크루즈 여행을 하게 되어 “이제야 신혼여행을 다녀온 기분”이라며 미소 지었다. 김지연 씨(56세)는 남편의 큰 수술과 긴 투병을 이겨낸 뒤, 30년 만에 부부 여행의 소원을 이루게 되었다며 눈시울을 적셨다.

The residents’ stories touched every heart. Ms. Choi Soon-ja (76) marked her golden wedding anniversary with her husband by boarding their first-ever cruise, smiling as she shared, “It feels like we are finally on our honeymoon.” Meanwhile, Ms. Kim Ji-yeon (56) grew tearful as she recounted fulfilling a 30-year dream of traveling again with her husband after his major surgery and long recovery.

성실한 직장 생활을 마무리하고 인생 2막을 시작한 도민들의 여정도 이어졌다. 35년 근속 후 정년퇴임한 전영호 씨(61세)는 부부와 함께 첫 크루즈 여행에 나섰고, 23년간 근무한 직장을 퇴직한 유혜란 씨(61세)는 동료와 함께 “나 자신에게 주는 힐링 여행”이라며 이번 항해에 의미를 더했다.

Stories of new beginnings also unfolded. Mr. Jeon Young-ho (61), who retired after 35 years of dedicated service, embarked on his first cruise with his wife. Ms. Yoo Hye-ran (61), having concluded 23 years at her workplace, chose this voyage with a colleague, calling it “a healing journey, a gift to myself.”

이들에게 크루즈 여행은 단순한 관광이 아니라, 인생의 새로운 장을 여는 특별한 출발점이 되었다.

For them, this cruise was far more than sightseeing—it was a symbolic departure into the next chapter of life.

이날 차담회는 오후 3시부터 1시간 동안 선사가 마련한 다과와 함께 따뜻하게 진행되었다. 참가자들은 삶의 여정을 진솔하게 나누고, 소정의 기념품을 받은 뒤 단체사진으로 특별한 순간을 기록했다.

The gathering took place at 3 p.m. and lasted an hour, accompanied by refreshments prepared by the cruise line. Participants shared their journeys with sincerity, received small commemorative gifts, and captured the warm memories in a group photo.

#손창환 강원특별자치도 글로벌본부장은 “도민들의 삶 속에서 진정한 여행의 의미를 다시 발견했다”며, “앞으로도 도민들이 행복을 누릴 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 마련해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

Mr. Son Chang-hwan, Director General of the Global Affairs Office of Gangwon Province, remarked, “Through the stories of our residents, we rediscovered the true meaning of travel. We will continue to create diverse programs that allow our people to experience happiness in their lives.”
