강원특별자치도교육청(교육감#신경호)은 6월 26일(목) 14시 강원특별자치도교육청교육연수원 횡성분원에서 영재교육 담당 교육전문직 및 강사요원 40명을 대상으로 「2026학년도 영재교육대상자 선발을 위한 교사관찰추천제 설명회」를 실시하였다.

On June 26 (Thursday) at 2 PM, the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) held an orientation on the "Teacher Observation and Recommendation System for the 2026 Gifted Student Selection" at the Hoengseong branch of the Gangwon Education Training Institute, with 40 gifted education professionals and instructors in attendance.

이번 설명회는 교사관찰추천제의 취지와 실천 방안을 공유하고, 이를 현장에 효과적으로 적용하기 위한 강사요원 연수로 구성되었다.

This orientation aimed to share the purpose and implementation strategies of the teacher observation and recommendation system and served as a training session to help instructors apply the system effectively in practice.

설명회에서는 교사관찰추천제의 개요 및 절차, GED(영재교육종합데이터베이스) 시스템 활용 방법 등을 중심으로 실습 중심의 연수가 진행되었다.

The training focused on hands-on activities, centering on the overview and procedures of the system as well as the use of the GED (Gifted Education Database) system.

박성관 미래교육과장은 “인공지능(AI), 우주과학, 바이오기술 등 미래 핵심 분야에서 활약할 인재를 조기에 발굴하는 것이 우리 교육의 책무”라며,

Park Sung-kwan, Director of Future Education, stated, “It is the responsibility of our education system to identify future talents early on in core areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), space science, and biotechnology.”

“이번 연수가 교사들의 관찰과 전문성을 기반으로 공정하고 포용적인 영재 선발이 이루어지는 데 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다.”라고 밝혔다.

“I hope this training will be a practical aid in ensuring that gifted student selection is carried out fairly and inclusively, based on teachers’ observations and expertise,” he added.

특히, 7월 10일(목)에는 #학끼오TV(유튜브)를 통한 학부모 대상 생방송 설명회가 예정되어 있다.

Notably, on July 10 (Thursday), a live-streamed orientation session for parents will be held via ‘Hakkkio TV’ (YouTube).

설명회에서는 교사관찰추천제의 운영 방식, 전년도와의 달라진 점, 시스템 활용법 등을 중심으로 안내할 예정이며, 실시간 채팅창을 통한 질의응답도 병행된다.

This session will explain how the teacher observation system works, highlight changes from the previous year, and provide guidance on using the system, along with real-time Q&A via the chat window.

한편, 강원특별자치도교육청은 교사관찰추천제의 안착을 통해 영재교육의 공정성과 객관성을 높이고, 다양한 학생의 잠재력을 발굴하는 데 지속적으로 힘쓸 계획이다.

Meanwhile, the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education plans to continue its efforts to enhance the fairness and objectivity of gifted education through the successful implementation of the teacher observation and recommendation system, while discovering the potential of diverse students.
