On Thursday, the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education, led by Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho, visited major test sites across the province to offer encouragement to students taking the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

Superintendent Shin arrived at Chuncheon Girls’ High School at 7:30 a.m. to cheer on the examinees.

Other senior officials from the Office of Education also visited Chuncheon High School, Seongsu High School, Chuncheon Technical High School, and the High School Affiliated with the Kangwon National University College of Education to show their support. This year, 11,974 students in Gangwon are taking the CSAT at 44 test centers with 482 testing rooms. The Office of Education also made special accommodations for 19 students with disabilities, ensuring a fair and smooth testing process for all.

Superintendent Shin expressed his hopes for the students, saying, "I hope that all examinees, who have worked hard throughout the year, can perform to the best of their abilities. The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education will continue to support our students through post-exam counseling, interview preparation, and every step up until the final stages of the college admission process.”
