동해문화관광재단(대표이사 정연수)은 오는 9월 17일부터 20일까지 열리는 ‘제39회 동해무릉제’에서 지역 음식점의 대표 메뉴를 소개하고 동해의 다양한 먹거리를 널리 알리기 위한 「동해 맛 한입」 참여업소를 모집한다.

The Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation, led by CEO Jung Yeon-su, is recruiting local food businesses to participate in “A Bite of Donghae,” a special food program held as part of the 39th Donghae Mureung Festival, taking place from September 17 to 20. The program aims to showcase signature dishes from local businesses and introduce visitors to the diverse flavors of Donghae.

‘동해 맛 한입’은 9월 19일과 20일 이틀간 축제장 내 공동 시식장에서 운영된다. 참여 업체는 대표 메뉴 시식·판매와 매장 방문 연계 이벤트 등을 진행할 수 있으며, 재단은 참가자 대상 인기 메뉴 투표와 온·오프라인 홍보 등을 지원한다.

“A Bite of Donghae” will be held on September 19 and 20 at a shared tasting area within the festival grounds. Participating businesses will have the opportunity to offer samples and sell their signature menu items, as well as run promotional events encouraging visitors to visit their stores. The Foundation will also support participating businesses through a visitor popularity vote and both online and offline promotion.

모집 규모는 동해시 소재 정상 영업 중인 외식업체 40팀 내외다. 9월 19일에는 수산물·농축산물, 향토·전통음식, 다문화 음식 등 일반 음식류 20팀, 9월 20일에는 커피·차·제과·디저트 등 음료·디저트류 20팀을 모집한다.

Approximately 40 food businesses currently operating in Donghae City will be selected. On September 19, around 20 businesses specializing in seafood, agricultural and livestock products, local and traditional cuisine, and multicultural foods will participate. On September 20, another 20 businesses specializing in coffee, tea, baked goods, beverages, and desserts will be featured.

신청은 8월 19일(수) 오후 2시까지 동해문화관광재단 문화사업팀을 방문해 접수하면 된다.

Applications for “A Bite of Donghae” must be submitted in person to the Culture Business Team of the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.

2. 풍물시장 먹거리 부스 12개소 모집

2. Recruiting 12 Food & Beverage Booths for the Festival Market

이와 함께 축제 기간 풍물시장 내 먹거리 부스를 운영할 「관내 식당 및 편의점 입점」 업체 12개소도 모집한다.

In addition, the Foundation is recruiting 12 local businesses to operate food, beverage, and convenience booths at the festival market during the Donghae Mureung Festival.

모집 규모는 식당 10개소, 음료·디저트 1개소, 편의점 1개소이며, 공고일 기준 6개월 이상 동해시에 사업자 등록을 유지한 업체가 대상이다.

A total of 12 businesses will be selected: 10 restaurants, one beverage/dessert business, and one convenience store. Eligible applicants must have maintained a registered business in Donghae City for at least six months as of the date of the recruitment announcement.

신청은 8월 18일(화) 오후 4시까지 동해문화관광재단 문화사업팀 또는 한국외식업중앙회 동해시지부를 방문해 접수하면 된다.

Applications must be submitted in person by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, either to the Culture Business Team of the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation or the Donghae City Branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association.

동해문화관광재단 관계자는 “동해무릉제를 찾는 방문객들에게 동해의 다양한 맛을 알리고 지역 외식업체와 소상공인에게 홍보와 매출 증대의 기회를 제공하고자 한다”며 “지역 업체들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

A representative of the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation said, “Through the Donghae Mureung Festival, we hope to introduce visitors to the diverse tastes of Donghae while providing local restaurants and small businesses with opportunities to promote their brands and increase sales. We encourage local businesses to take an active interest and participate.”
