동해시, AI·드론 미래인재 키운다… Youth RISE ‘성과보고회’ 개최

동해시는 청소년들의 4차 산업혁명 핵심 역량 강화를 위해 운영 중인 「Youth RISE, 차세대 혁신 캠프」의 성과를 공유하는 성과보고회를 오는 8월 8일 동해시청소년센터에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that it will hold the Youth RISE Next-Generation Innovation Camp Achievement Showcase on August 8 at the Donghae Youth Center, presenting the outcomes of its educational program designed to strengthen young people's competencies in key Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

이번 캠프는 동해시 교육발전특구 사업의 일환으로 한림대학교 RISE본부와 협력해 마련됐으며, 지난 8월 4일부터 7일까지 12세부터 19세까지의 청소년을 대상으로 운영됐다. 모집과 동시에 5개 과정(정원 55명)이 조기 마감될 정도로 높은 관심을 받았다.

 The camp was organized as part of Donghae City's Education Development Special Zone initiative in collaboration with the Hallym University RISE Headquarters. It was held from August 4 to 7 for youths aged 12 to 19. All five programs, accommodating a total of 55 participants, reached capacity shortly after registration opened, reflecting strong community interest.

참가 청소년들은 전문 강사진과 함께 ▲드론 스포츠(조립·비행·축구) ▲드론 AI 미디어 ▲AI 기초 ▲스펙업 AI ▲3D 프린터 등 4차 산업혁명 핵심 분야를 중심으로 실습 위주의 교육을 받으며 미래 역량과 창의적 문제 해결 능력을 키웠다.

 Guided by professional instructors, participants received hands-on training in core Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, including drone sports (assembly, flight, and drone soccer), drone AI media, AI fundamentals, AI career development, and 3D printing. The practical curriculum was designed to foster future-ready skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

성과보고회는 캠프 참가 청소년과 가족은 물론 시민 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 행사에서는 ▲드론 스포츠 대회 ▲드론·AI 영상 및 사진 전시 ▲AI 포트폴리오 발표 ▲3D 디오라마 작품 전시 ▲'동해시에 필요한 AI 스마트 모듈' 전시 등 캠프 성과를 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있다.

 The Achievement Showcase is open not only to participating youths and their families but also to all citizens. Visitors will be able to enjoy a drone sports tournament, exhibitions of drone and AI-produced videos and photographs, AI portfolio presentations, 3D diorama displays, and an exhibition titled "AI Smart Modules for the Future of Donghae City," highlighting the participants' creative achievements.

또한 영화 「국가대표」, 「로드무비」, 「싱글즈」 등의 촬영감독인 김재호 감독의 특별강연과 청소년들이 직접 제작한 고카트 탑승, 드론 촬영 체험 등 다양한 참여 프로그램도 함께 운영된다.

 The event will also feature a special lecture by cinematographer Kim Jae-ho, known for films such as Take Off, Road Movie, and Singles. Visitors can additionally participate in hands-on activities, including riding youth-built go-karts and experiencing drone flight and aerial photography.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 “이번 캠프는 청소년들이 AI와 드론 등 미래기술을 직접 체험하며 창의력과 문제 해결 능력을 키울 수 있도록 실습 중심으로 운영했다”며 "성과보고회를 통해 청소년들의 성과를 시민들과 함께 공유하는 만큼 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

 Cheon Soo-jung, Director of the Sports and Education Division, said, "This camp was designed as a hands-on learning experience, allowing young people to directly explore future technologies such as AI and drones while developing creativity and problem-solving skills. We hope many citizens will attend the Achievement Showcase to celebrate and encourage the outstanding accomplishments of our youth."
