동해문화관광재단은 오는 9월 개최되는 제39회 동해무릉제를 앞두고 축제 분위기를 지역 전역으로 확산하고 지역 상권에 활력을 불어넣기 위해 ‘동해무릉제 세일페스타’ 참여업소를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

The Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation announced that it is recruiting local businesses to participate in the Donghae Mureung Festival Sale Festa ahead of the 39th Donghae Mureung Festival this September. The initiative aims to spread the festive atmosphere throughout the city while revitalizing local businesses.

이번 세일페스타는 동해무릉제 주간인 9월 14일부터 20일까지 7일간 진행된다. 동해시 소상공인들이 자발적으로 할인행사에 참여해 시민과 관광객에게 다양한 혜택을 제공하고, 축제와 지역경제가 함께 성장하는 상생의 소비 문화를 조성할 계획이다.

The Sale Festa will be held for seven days, from September 14 to September 20, during the Donghae Mureung Festival week. Local small businesses will voluntarily offer discounts and special promotions, providing benefits to residents and visitors while creating a mutually beneficial environment where the festival and local economy grow together.

모집 대상은 행사 참여를 희망하는 동해시 관내 업소로, 일반음식점과 휴게음식점은 물론 의류·잡화점, 미용실 등 업종에 관계없이 신청할 수 있다. 다만 유흥업소와 사행성 업종 등 건전한 소비 촉진 취지에 맞지 않는 업종은 참여 대상에서 제외된다.

Applications are open to businesses located in Donghae, including restaurants, cafés, clothing stores, accessory shops, beauty salons, and many other business types. However, entertainment venues and gambling-related businesses that do not align with the campaign's purpose of promoting healthy consumer activity are excluded.

참여업소에는 동해시 공식 SNS, 동해소식지, 동해문화관광재단 홈페이지, 동해무릉제 리플렛 등 다양한 온·오프라인 홍보 채널을 통한 무료 홍보 혜택이 제공된다.

Participating businesses will receive free promotional opportunities through a variety of online and offline channels, including Donghae City's official social media platforms, the city newsletter, the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation website, and official Donghae Mureung Festival leaflets.

신청 기간은 8월 3일부터 8월 19일까지이며, 신청 링크 또는 홍보물에 안내된 QR코드를 통해 간편하게 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다.

Applications will be accepted from August 3 to August 19, and businesses can conveniently apply online using the application link or the QR code provided in promotional materials.

#동해문화관광재단 관계자는 "지역 상인들과 함께 만들어가는 세일페스타를 통해 동해무릉제가 더욱 풍성한 지역 대표 축제로 자리매김하길 기대한다"며 "지역 상권 활성화와 업소 홍보 효과를 함께 누릴 수 있는 이번 행사에 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 부탁드린다"고 말했다.

A representative of the Donghae Culture & Tourism Foundation said, "We hope the Sale Festa, created together with local merchants, will make the Donghae Mureung Festival an even more vibrant signature festival for the region. We encourage local businesses to take advantage of this opportunity to promote their stores while contributing to the revitalization of the local economy."
