관광객 안전관리 점검… 여름 관광 최일선 지키는 현장근무자 격려

Donghae City Conducts Summer Tourist Safety Inspection, Encourages Frontline Workers

동해시가 본격적인 여름 휴가철을 맞아 해수욕장과 주요 관광지에서 근무 중인 현장근무자들을 격려하고 관광객 안전관리 실태를 점검한다. 이번 점검은 관광객들이 안심하고 여행을 즐길 수 있도록 현장의 안전관리 체계를 다시 한번 확인하기 위해 마련됐다.

As the peak summer vacation season begins, Donghae City is conducting inspections of tourist safety management while encouraging frontline workers serving at beaches and major tourist attractions. The inspection aims to ensure that visitors can enjoy their travels safely by reviewing on-site safety systems.

현재 동해시는 해수욕장을 비롯한 주요 관광지에 질서계도요원, 인명구조요원, 안전요원, 기간제근로자 등 400여 명을 배치해 관광객의 안전 확보와 쾌적한 관광환경 조성에 힘쓰고 있다.

Donghae City has deployed approximately 400 frontline personnel—including public order guides, lifeguards, safety officers, and temporary workers—across beaches and major tourist destinations to ensure visitor safety and provide a pleasant tourism environment.

이번 현장점검은 8월 3일부터 4일까지 이틀간 진행되며, 망상해수욕장과 망상오토캠핑리조트, 도째비골 스카이밸리, 천곡황금박쥐동굴, 추암해수욕장, 무릉계곡, 무릉건강숲, 무릉별유천지 등 8개 주요 관광지를 차례로 방문한다. 현장에서는 근무 여건을 살피는 한편 안전관리 체계와 관광객 응대 상황 등을 종합적으로 점검한다.

The inspection takes place over two days, from August 3 to 4, covering eight major tourist destinations: Mangsang Beach, Mangsang Auto Camping Resort, Dodjjaebigol Sky Valley, Cheongok Golden Bat Cave, Chuam Beach, Mureung Valley, Mureung Health Forest, and Mureung Byeollyucheonji. Officials will review working conditions, inspect safety management systems, and evaluate visitor service at each location.

시는 폭염 속에서도 관광객의 안전과 편의를 위해 현장을 지키고 있는 근무자들에게 감사의 뜻을 전하고 격려물품을 전달할 예정이다. 또한 여름 성수기 동안 안전사고 예방과 친절한 관광서비스 제공에 최선을 다해 줄 것을 당부했다.

The city will also express its appreciation to the workers who continue to safeguard visitors despite the extreme summer heat by delivering encouragement gifts. Officials asked them to remain committed to preventing accidents and providing friendly, high-quality tourism services throughout the busy vacation season.
