동해시, 느린학습자 청소년 맞춤형 성장 프로그램 운영

동해시가 느린 학습자 청소년과 가족을 위한 맞춤형 지원을 강화한다. 여름방학을 맞아 동해시청소년상담복지센터에서 오는 8월 1일과 8일, 느린 학습자 청소년의 정서적 안정과 자기효능감 향상을 위한 프로그램을 운영한다.

Donghae City is strengthening customized support for slow learner youth and their families. During the summer vacation, the Donghae Youth Counseling & Welfare Center will operate a special program on August 1 and August 8 to promote emotional well-being and enhance self-efficacy among slow learner adolescents.

이번 프로그램은 학습과 또래관계에서 어려움을 겪는 느린 학습자 청소년들이 자신의 강점을 발견하고 긍정적인 성공 경험을 쌓을 수 있도록 보드게임과 원예치료 활동으로 진행된다.

The program is designed to help slow learner youth who experience difficulties in learning and peer relationships discover their strengths and build positive experiences of success through cooperative board games and horticultural therapy activities.

참여 청소년들은 식물을 직접 심고 가꾸는 원예활동을 통해 성취감과 심리적 안정감을 높이고, 협동 중심의 보드게임을 통해 의사소통 능력과 문제해결 능력을 키우는 시간을 갖게 된다.

Participants will plant and care for flowers and plants, gaining a sense of achievement and emotional stability. They will also develop communication and problem-solving skills through teamwork-oriented board games.

동해시청소년상담복지센터는 느린 학습자와 가족을 위한 맞춤형 지원을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다. 지난 5월에는 느린 학습자 양육 부모를 대상으로 마음챙김 교육을 실시했으며, 오는 9월에는 양육자와 청소년이 함께 참여하는 베이킹 프로그램을 운영해 가족 간 소통과 상호작용을 높일 계획이다.

The Donghae Youth Counseling & Welfare Center continues to provide customized support for slow learner youth and their families. In May, it offered a mindfulness education program for parents and caregivers. This September, the center plans to hold a family baking program where parents and youth can participate together, strengthening communication and positive family interaction.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 "느린 학습자 청소년들에게는 작은 성공 경험이 자신감을 키우는 중요한 밑거름이 된다"며 "이번 프로그램이 청소년들이 스스로를 믿고 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다. 이어 "앞으로도 청소년은 물론 부모와 가족이 함께 성장할 수 있는 다양한 맞춤형 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해 건강한 성장을 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
