‘추암·망상해변서 펼쳐지는 한여름 음악축제’

올여름 동해의 밤을 음악으로 물들일 「동해 해변 뮤직 페스티벌」이 오는 7월 30일(목)부터 8월 4일(화)까지 추암해변과 망상해변 일원에서 열린다.

The Donghae Beach Music Festival, set to fill Donghae's summer nights with music, will be held from Thursday, July 30, to Tuesday, August 4, at Chuam Beach and Mangsang Beach.

동해시가 후원하고 한국예술문화단체총연합회 동해지회가 주관하는 이번 페스티벌은 아름다운 동해바다를 배경으로 펼쳐지는 동해시 대표 여름 문화축제로, 시민과 관광객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 공연을 6일간 선보인다.

Sponsored by Donghae City and organized by the Donghae Branch of the Korean Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations, the festival is one of Donghae's signature summer cultural events. Set against the stunning East Sea coastline, it will feature six days of diverse performances for both residents and visitors.

공연은 7월 30일부터 31일까지는 추암해변, 8월 1일부터 4일까지는 망상해변에서 매일 오후 8시부터 10시까지 진행된다.

Performances will take place July 30–31 at Chuam Beach and August 1–4 at Mangsang Beach, with shows running daily from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

올해는 신예영, DK, lIlBOI, 박군, 박상민 밴드를 비롯한 인기 가수와 지역 예술인이 함께 무대에 올라 발라드, 힙합, 록, 트로트 등 다양한 장르의 공연을 선사하며 여름밤 해변의 열기를 더할 예정이다.

This year's lineup includes popular artists such as Shin Ye-young, DK, lIlBOI, Park Goon, and the Park Sang-min Band, along with talented local performers. Audiences can enjoy a wide range of musical genres, including ballads, hip-hop, rock, and trot, adding excitement to Donghae's summer nights.

특히 추암해변에서는 야간 관광명소인 ‘추암의 여명 빛 테마파크’도 함께 운영되고 있다. 특화 조명과 미디어파사드, 별빛 포토존 등 다채로운 야간 경관이 조성돼 있어 공연을 관람한 뒤 추암의 밤바다를 거닐며 색다른 볼거리와 감성을 함께 즐길 수 있다.

Visitors to Chuam Beach can also experience the "Chuam Dawn Light Theme Park," a popular nighttime attraction featuring artistic lighting, media façade displays, and starlight photo zones. After the concert, guests can enjoy a memorable seaside walk while taking in the beautifully illuminated coastal scenery.

이번 페스티벌은 여름 성수기 해변을 찾는 관광객들에게 수준 높은 문화공연을 제공하는 것은 물론, 야간 관광 콘텐츠를 확대해 체류형 관광 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

The festival is expected not only to provide high-quality cultural performances for peak-season beachgoers but also to expand Donghae's nighttime tourism offerings, encouraging visitors to stay longer and experience more of the city.
