강릉권역 유보통합 추진 실무협의회 개최

강릉교육지원청(교육장 김기현)은 7월 23일(목) 강릉 메이플비치 연수실에서 강릉권역 6개 교육지원청과 7개 시·군청 보육업무 담당자가 참여하는 ‘2026 강릉권역 유보통합 추진 실무협의회’를 개최한다.

The Gangneung Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Gi-hyun) will host the 2026 Gangneung Regional Practical Council for Early Childhood Education and Care Integration on Thursday, July 23, at the Maple Beach Training Center in Gangneung. The meeting will bring together officials from six education support offices and seven city and county governments responsible for early childhood education and childcare across the Gangneung region.

이번 협의회는 강릉교육지원청(강릉권역 중심교육지원청)이 추진하는 유보통합 주요 사업과 정책을 안내하고, 권역 내 교육지원청과 시·군청 업무담당자가 현장의 경험과 의견을 나누기 위해 마련됐다.

 The council has been organized to introduce the Gangneung Office of Education's major initiatives and policies for integrating early childhood education and childcare, while providing an opportunity for officials from education offices and local governments to exchange field experiences, practical insights, and ideas.

실무협의회에서는 강릉권역 영유아 교육·보육 현황을 비롯해 ▲유보통합 추진 기반 조성 ▲유보통합 시범기관 지원 ▲유보통합 특색사업 ▲유치원·어린이집 교원 역량 강화 등 강릉권역에서 추진하고 있는 주요 사업의 운영 현황을 공유한다.

 During the meeting, participants will review the current status of early childhood education and childcare in the Gangneung region and share progress on key initiatives, including:

establishing the foundation for integration,

supporting pilot institutions,

implementing region-specific integration programs, and

strengthening the professional capacity of kindergarten and childcare center teachers.

◦ 이어 ‘현장을 잇는 유보통합 소통과 혁신의 리더십’을 주제로 강연을 진행한다. 강연을 통해 서로 다른 조직과 업무 환경에 대한 이해를 넓히고, 업무담당자 간 소통 역량을 높이는 시간을 가질 예정이다.

◦ The program will also feature a special lecture titled "Leadership for Communication and Innovation Connecting the Field through Early Childhood Education and Care Integration." The session aims to deepen participants' understanding of different organizational cultures and working environments while enhancing communication and collaboration among officials.

강릉교육지원청은 이번 실무협의회를 통해 교육지원청과 시·군청 담당자 간 공감대를 형성하고, 향후 유보통합 정책 변화에 원활히 대응할 수 있도록 협력 기반을 강화해 나갈 계획이다.

 Through this practical council, the Gangneung Office of Education plans to strengthen cooperation between education support offices and local governments, build mutual understanding, and establish a solid collaborative foundation to effectively respond to future policy developments in early childhood education and care integration.

#김기현 교육장은 “각 기관이 맡은 역할과 서로의 현장을 이해하는 일은 지역 영유아를 더욱 촘촘하게 지원하기 위한 출발점”이라며, “이번 실무협의회가 서로의 역할과 현장 여건에 공감하고, 유보통합 정책에 대한 이해를 넓히는 뜻깊은 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

He added, "I hope this practical council will serve as a meaningful opportunity to foster mutual understanding, strengthen collaboration, and broaden our shared understanding of early childhood education and care integration policies."
