AI가 바꾸는 미래, 동해시민 무료 특강 열린다

AI가 우리의 일상과 산업, 행정을 빠르게 변화시키고 있습니다. 이러한 시대 변화에 발맞춰 동해시와 한림대학교가 시민과 함께 미래를 준비하는 특별한 자리를 마련했습니다.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming our daily lives, industries, and public administration. In response to these changes, Donghae City and Hallym University have prepared a special event to help citizens explore and prepare for the AI-driven future.

동해시(시장 이정학)와 한림대학교(총장 최양희)는 오는 7월 23일 오후 2시, 현진관광호텔에서 「2026 한림 G-Lab@동해 AI 전환 특강」을 개최합니다. 이번 특강은 AI 시대 지방정부의 역할과 지역 산업의 AI 활용 전략을 함께 모색하기 위해 마련되었습니다.

On July 23 at 2:00 PM, Donghae City and Hallym University will host the "2026 Hallym G-Lab@Donghae AI Transformation Seminar" at Hyunjin Tourist Hotel. The seminar aims to explore the role of local governments in the AI era and discuss practical AI strategies for regional industries.

이번 특강은 시민과 공직자, 지역 기업이 함께 AI 기술과 정책의 흐름을 이해하고, 동해시에 적합한 AI 활용 방안을 고민하는 소통의 장이 될 것으로 기대됩니다. AI를 단순한 기술이 아닌 지역 성장의 새로운 동력으로 바라보는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것입니다.

The seminar is expected to become a valuable forum where citizens, public officials, and local businesses can better understand AI technologies and policies while discussing practical applications tailored to Donghae. It offers an opportunity to view AI not merely as a technology but as a key driver of regional growth.

첫 번째 강연은 하정우 전 대통령비서실 AI미래기획수석이 맡아 '지자체 AI 전환(AX)의 필요성과 중장기 추진 방향'을 주제로 지방정부가 준비해야 할 AI 정책과 미래 전략을 제시합니다.

The first keynote speaker, Ha Jung-woo, former Senior Presidential Secretary for AI Future Strategy, will present "Why Local Governments Need AI Transformation (AX) and Their Long-Term Strategy," offering insights into AI policies and future directions for municipalities.

이어 이해정 강원창조경제혁신센터장은 '강원지역 AI 스타트업 육성과 지자체 연계 방안'을 주제로 지역 AI 산업 활성화와 창업 생태계 조성, 그리고 지방정부와의 협력 모델을 소개할 예정입니다.

Next, Lee Hae-jung, Director of the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, will discuss "Fostering AI Startups in Gangwon and Building Partnerships with Local Governments," highlighting regional innovation, startup ecosystems, and collaborative models.

이번 특강은 AI에 관심 있는 동해시민이라면 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있습니다. 참가 신청은 홍보 포스터의 QR코드를 통해 가능하며, 선착순 200명을 모집합니다. 정원이 차면 조기 마감될 수 있습니다.

The seminar is free and open to all Donghae citizens interested in AI. Registration is available through the QR code on the promotional poster, with participation limited to the first 200 applicants. Registration may close early once capacity is reached.

Lee Sun-woo, Director of Planning and Budget, emphasized, "AI is no longer an option but a key factor that will determine the future competitiveness of our region." He added that he hopes the seminar will inspire citizens, public officials, and local businesses to better understand AI transformation and shape Donghae's future growth together.
