동해교육도서관, ‘사전활용수업, 책지피티(GPT) 단어수집가’ 운영

동해교육도서관(관장 안은희)은 여름방학을 맞아 초등학생의 어휘력과 문해력 향상을 위한 ‘사전활용수업, 책지피티(GPT) 단어수집가’ 프로그램을 운영한다.

Donghae Education Library (Director Ahn Eun-hee) will offer the “Dictionary Learning Class: BookGPT Word Collector”*program during the summer vacation to help elementary school students strengthen their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills.

이번 프로그램은 사전을 활용한 단어 찾기 게임, 사전 탐색 연습, 나만의 사전 만들기 등 다양한 체험형 활동으로 구성되어 학생들이 쉽고 재미있게 어휘를 익힐 수 있도록 마련됐다. 특히 학생들이 스스로 단어의 뜻과 쓰임을 찾아보는 과정을 통해 자기주도적 학습 능력과 언어 표현력을 키울 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The program includes a variety of hands-on activities such as dictionary word-search games, dictionary exploration exercises, and creating a personal dictionary. These activities are designed to make vocabulary learning both enjoyable and effective. By discovering word meanings and usage on their own, students are expected to develop self-directed learning skills as well as stronger language expression.

프로그램은 초등학교 3~4학년을 대상으로 운영된다. 1차 과정은 3학년을 대상으로 7월 28일(화)부터 7월 31일(금)까지, 2차 과정은 4학년을 대상으로 8월 11일(화)부터 8월 14일(금)까지 진행되며, 수업은 매일 오후 1시부터 3시까지 운영된다.

The program is designed for third- and fourth-grade elementary school students. The first session, for third graders, will run from **July 28 to July 31**, while the second session, for fourth graders, will take place from **August 11 to August 14**. Classes will be held daily from **1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.**

#안은희 관장은 “이번 프로그램을 통해 어린이들이 사전과 더욱 친숙해지고, 다양한 단어를 탐색하며 읽기와 쓰기에 대한 흥미를 높이는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Director Ahn Eun-hee said, *“We hope this program will help children become more familiar with dictionaries, discover a wide range of words, and develop greater interest in reading and writing.”*
