동해시, 동쪽바다중앙시장 주말야시장 10일 개장

동해시는 여름 피서철 관광객 유치와 전통시장 활성화를 위해 오는 7월 10일부터 8월 29일까지 매주 금요일과 토요일 「동쪽바다중앙시장 주말야시장」을 운영한다.

To attract summer visitors and revitalize its traditional market, Donghae City will operate the "East Sea Central Market Weekend Night Market" every Friday and Saturday from July 10 through August 29.

야시장은 매주 오후 5시부터 9시까지 운영되며, 먹거리 부스 20개소와 프리마켓 16개소가 참여한다. 방문객들은 다양한 음식과 수공예품, 지역 특산품을 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있다.

The night market will be open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM each Friday and Saturday. It will feature 20 food stalls and 16 flea market booths, offering a wide variety of local cuisine, handmade crafts, and regional specialty products.

개장 첫날인 7월 10일 오후 6시에는 동쪽바다중앙시장 야외공연장에서 개막식이 열리며, 버스킹 공연과 함께 여름밤 축제의 시작을 알릴 예정이다.

On the opening day, July 10 at 6:00 PM, an opening ceremony will take place at the market's outdoor performance stage, accompanied by live busking performances to kick off the summer evening festival.

올해 야시장은 동해의 바다와 신선한 수산물, 해양관광의 매력을 담은 특색 있는 메뉴와 상품을 더욱 확대했다. 또한 시장 곳곳에서 다양한 이벤트와 체험 프로그램을 운영해 관광객과 시민 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 풍성한 여름밤을 선사할 계획이다.

This year's night market places greater emphasis on Donghae's unique maritime identity by showcasing seafood-inspired dishes, ocean-themed products, and local specialties. Various events and interactive programs throughout the market will create an enjoyable summer evening experience for both residents and visitors.

동쪽바다중앙시장은 신선한 수산물과 다양한 먹거리로 사랑받는 동해시 대표 전통시장이다. 이번 야시장은 전통시장과 관광을 연계한 야간 관광 콘텐츠로 지역 상권에 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다.

The East Sea Central Market is one of Donghae City's signature traditional markets, well known for its fresh seafood and diverse culinary offerings. The night market is expected to strengthen the local economy by combining traditional market culture with nighttime tourism.

지난해 주말야시장은 많은 시민과 관광객의 호응을 얻으며 동해시 대표 여름 야간 관광명소로 자리매김했다. 올해는 더욱 풍성한 먹거리와 다채로운 즐길거리로 방문객 만족도를 한층 높일 계획이다.

Last year's weekend night market attracted enthusiastic crowds and established itself as one of Donghae's most popular summer evening attractions. This year, an even richer selection of food and entertainment is expected to provide visitors with an even more memorable experience.
