함께 바꾸는 미래, 「민선 9기 시정방침」 확정

- 민선 9기 새로운 시정구호와 5대 시정목표 발표

강릉시는 민선 9기 시정구호를 「함께 바꾸는 미래, 모두 행복한 강릉」으로 확정하고, 시민과 함께 만드는 새로운 도시 비전과 시정철학을 공식 발표했다.

Gangneung City has officially adopted the new municipal slogan, "Changing the Future Together, A Happier Gangneung for All," unveiling its vision and governing philosophy for the 9th municipal administration built together with its citizens.

새로운 시정구호는 시민과 행정이 변화의 주체가 되어 강릉의 미래를 함께 만들어가고, 모든 시민이 행복을 체감하는 도시를 실현하겠다는 의지를 담고 있다.

The new slogan reflects the city's commitment to making both citizens and the administration active partners in shaping Gangneung's future while creating a city where every resident can genuinely experience happiness.

이를 실현하기 위해 강릉시는 다섯 가지 시정목표를 제시했다.

▲ 시민과 함께가는 열린도시 ▲ 건강하고 따뜻한 안심도시 ▲ 자연을 품는 치유도시 ▲ 세계를 잇는 창의도시 ▲ 기회가 넘치는 젊은도시이다.

To achieve this vision, Gangneung has established five strategic goals:

An Open City with Citizens, A Safe and Caring City, A Healing City Embracing Nature, A Creative City Connected to the World, and A Youthful City Full of Opportunities.

첫 번째 목표인 '시민과 함께가는 열린도시'는 시민이 시정의 주인이 되는 참여행정을 실현하고, 열린 시장실과 적극적인 소통을 통해 투명하고 책임 있는 행정을 구축하는 데 중점을 둔다.

The first goal, "An Open City with Citizens," focuses on participatory governance where citizens become the true owners of municipal administration through transparent decision-making, an open mayor's office, and expanded public communication.

'건강하고 따뜻한 안심도시'는 복지와 의료, 안전망을 강화하고 사회적 약자를 더욱 두텁게 보호하여 누구나 안심하고 살아갈 수 있는 공동체를 만드는 것을 목표로 한다.

"A Safe and Caring City" aims to strengthen welfare, healthcare, and public safety while providing greater protection for vulnerable groups, creating a community where everyone can live with confidence and dignity.

'자연을 품는 치유도시'는 강릉의 아름다운 자연환경을 미래 성장자산으로 활용하고, 지속가능한 환경정책과 신재생에너지 확대를 통해 사람과 자연이 함께 공존하는 도시를 만들어간다.

"A Healing City Embracing Nature" seeks to preserve Gangneung's outstanding natural environment as a long-term growth asset while promoting sustainable environmental policies, renewable energy, and harmonious coexistence between people and nature.

'세계를 잇는 창의도시'는 문화와 역사, 예술을 세계와 연결하고 창의적인 관광과 문화산업을 육성하여 글로벌 문화도시로 도약하는 것을 목표로 한다.

"A Creative City Connected to the World" will strengthen Gangneung's global competitiveness by connecting its rich culture, history, and arts with international audiences while fostering innovative tourism and cultural industries.

마지막으로 '기회가 넘치는 젊은도시'는 AI 데이터센터 클러스터와 천연물 바이오 국가산업단지 조성 등을 통해 미래산업 기반을 구축하고, 청년 일자리와 창업, 정주여건을 강화하여 젊은 세대가 머물고 싶은 도시를 만들어 나갈 계획이다.

Finally, "A Youthful City Full of Opportunities" will build future industries through projects such as the AI Data Center Cluster and the Natural Bio National Industrial Complex while expanding youth employment, entrepreneurship, and residential opportunities that encourage young people to build their future in Gangneung.

#김중남 강릉시장은 "민선 9기는 시민과 함께 시작하고, 시민과 함께 바꾸며, 그 성과를 시민과 함께 나누는 시정이 될 것"이라며 "시민 한 분 한 분의 목소리를 시정의 출발점으로 삼아 함께 바꾸는 미래, 모두 행복한 강릉을 만들어 가겠다"고 밝혔다.

Mayor Kim Joong-nam stated,

"The 9th municipal administration will begin with our citizens, change together with our citizens, and share every achievement with our citizens. Every voice from our community will become the starting point of our policies as we build a brighter future together and create a happier Gangneung for everyone."
