제20회 자랑스러운 동해여성상 후보자 추천 접수

동해시는 양성평등사회 구현과 지역사회 발전에 기여한 여성을 발굴·시상하기 위해 ‘제20회 자랑스러운 동해여성상’ 후보자를 7월 10일부터 7월 30일까지 추천받는다.

Donghae City is accepting nominations for the 20th Proud Donghae Woman Award from July 10 to July 30, recognizing women who have made outstanding contributions to gender equality and the development of the local community.

‘자랑스러운 동해여성상’은 여성의 권익 증진과 양성평등 문화 확산, 지역사회 발전에 기여한 여성에게 동해시장 상패를 수여하는 상으로, 2007년 제정 이후 지금까지 총 16명의 수상자를 배출했다.

Established in 2007, the Proud Donghae Woman Award honors women who have promoted women's rights, advanced gender equality, and contributed to community development. Since its inception, 16 women have received this prestigious recognition from the Mayor of Donghae.

추천 대상은 동해시 출생자이거나 추천 마감일 기준 동해시에 5년 이상 거주한 여성이다. 어진 인품과 덕망을 바탕으로 지역사회 발전과 여성의 자긍심을 높이는 데 헌신한 여성이면 추천할 수 있다.

Eligible nominees are women who were born in Donghae or have lived in the city for at least five years as of the nomination deadline. Candidates should be recognized for their integrity, leadership, and dedication to strengthening the community and empowering women.

추천은 주소지 동장, 각급 기관·단체장, 출향 단체장이 할 수 있으며, 신청서는 동해시 가족과에 직접 방문하거나 등기우편으로 제출하면 된다.

Nominations may be submitted by local district office heads, leaders of public organizations or associations, and heads of Donghae alumni organizations. Applications can be delivered in person or by registered mail to Donghae City's Family Affairs Division.

접수된 후보자는 양성평등위원회의 심사를 거쳐 오는 8월 최종 수상자 1명을 선정하며, 수상자는 제20회 동해시 양성평등대회에서 동해시장 상패를 받게 된다.

All nominees will be reviewed by the Gender Equality Committee. One recipient will be selected in August and officially honored with the Mayor's Award during the 20th Donghae Gender Equality Convention.

Bae Mi-kyung, Director of the Family Affairs Division, said, "Many women quietly dedicate themselves every day to advancing gender equality and improving women's rights throughout our community. We hope this award will shine a spotlight on these inspiring individuals and encourage many citizens to participate by submitting nominations."
