빵 굽고 추억 쌓고… 동해시, 장애청소년 가족 제빵체험 ‘달콤한 동행’ 운영

빵이 오븐에서 천천히 익어가듯, 가족의 사랑도 함께하는 시간을 통해 더욱 깊어진다. 동해시가 장애청소년과 부모가 함께 웃고 배우며 추억을 만드는 특별한 제빵체험 프로그램 '달콤한 동행'을 마련했다.

Just as bread slowly rises in the warmth of an oven, family love grows stronger through moments shared together. Donghae City is launching "Sweet Together," a special baking experience where youth with disabilities and their parents can laugh, learn, and create lasting memories side by side.

동해시는 오는 7월 11일부터 8월 8일까지 매주 토요일 오전 10시부터 12시까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 장애청소년 가족 참여형 제빵체험 프로그램 '달콤한 동행'을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

Donghae City announced that "Sweet Together" will be held every Saturday from July 11 through August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, for a total of five sessions as a family-centered baking program.

이번 프로그램은 관내 9세부터 24세까지의 장애청소년과 부모(보호자) 10가족, 총 20명을 대상으로 동해시청소년수련관 제빵체험실에서 진행된다. 가족이 함께 반죽을 만들고 빵을 완성하는 과정 속에서 자연스럽게 대화하고 협력하며 서로를 이해하는 시간을 갖게 된다.

The program welcomes 10 families (20 participants) consisting of youth with disabilities aged 9 to 24 and their parents or guardians. Hosted in the baking studio at the Donghae Youth Center, participants will knead dough, bake bread, and enjoy meaningful conversations while working together as a family.

'달콤한 동행'은 단순한 요리 체험을 넘어 부모와 자녀가 하나의 작품을 함께 완성하며 성취감을 나누는 가족 프로그램이다. 손끝으로 반죽을 빚고 따뜻한 빵 향기를 함께 느끼는 시간은 가족 간 신뢰와 사랑을 더욱 깊게 만들어 줄 것으로 기대된다.

More than a cooking class, "Sweet Together" is designed to strengthen family relationships by encouraging parents and children to create something meaningful together. From shaping dough with their hands to sharing the aroma of freshly baked bread, every moment is expected to deepen trust, affection, and confidence within the family.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 "이번 프로그램이 장애청소년과 가족이 서로를 더 깊이 이해하고 따뜻한 추억을 만드는 소중한 시간이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 가족이 함께 성장하고 건강한 여가문화를 누릴 수 있도록 다양한 참여형 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대하겠다"고 말했다.

Cheon Soo-jung, Director of the Sports and Education Division, expressed hope that the program would provide meaningful opportunities for families to better understand one another and build cherished memories. She added that Donghae City will continue expanding family-oriented programs that promote inclusion, healthy leisure, and shared growth.

동해시는 앞으로도 장애청소년과 가족이 지역사회와 함께 어울리고 행복한 일상을 만들어 갈 수 있도록 다양한 문화·체험 프로그램을 꾸준히 운영할 계획이다. 작은 빵 하나를 함께 굽는 시간이 가족에게는 오래도록 기억될 따뜻한 추억이 될 것이다.
