동해시와 한림대학교가 오는 7월 9일 현진관광호텔에서 「2026 한림 G-Lab@동해 동해시 AI 전환(AX) 포럼」을 개최한다. 이번 행사는 지역의 AI 전환 전략을 모색하고 미래 산업 생태계를 함께 설계하기 위한 협력의 장으로 마련됐다.

Donghae City and Hallym University will jointly host the "2026 Hallym G-Lab@Donghae AI Transformation (AX) Forum" on July 9 at Hyunjin Tourist Hotel. The forum aims to explore regional AI transformation strategies while building a sustainable innovation ecosystem for future industries.

포럼은 오전 11시 현진관광호텔 2층 릴리홀에서 시작된다. 테크프론티어 한상기 대표와 알서포트 신동형 팀장이 AI 전환의 필요성과 지방정부가 준비해야 할 AX 추진 방향을 주제로 특별강연을 진행한다.

The forum begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Lily Hall on the second floor of Hyunjin Tourist Hotel. Special keynote sessions will be delivered by Han Sang-gi, CEO of Tech Frontier, and Shin Dong-hyung of RSUPPORT, highlighting why AI transformation matters and how local governments can successfully implement AX strategies.

이어지는 창업 세션에서는 AI 스타트업인 AI프로바와 본레이크가 참여해 실제 AI 기술을 활용한 창업 사례를 소개하고, 지역과 함께 성장할 수 있는 AI 비즈니스 모델과 창업 아이디어를 공유한다.

During the startup session, AI startups AIProva and BonLake will present real-world AI business cases and introduce innovative startup models that demonstrate how artificial intelligence can create new opportunities for regional economies.

행사에서는 AI 아이디어톤 수상작 발표와 시상식도 함께 진행된다. 이어 전문가들이 참여하는 종합토론에서는 동해시의 AI 전환 전략과 산업·행정·교육 분야의 발전 방향을 폭넓게 논의할 예정이다.

The event will also feature presentations by the winners of the AI Ideathon, followed by an awards ceremony. A panel discussion with experts will then examine Donghae City's AI transformation strategy and explore practical applications across industry, public administration, and education.

같은 날 현진관광호텔 2층 카라홀에서는 일반 시민이 자유롭게 참여할 수 있는 AI 기업 전시부스가 오전 11시부터 오후 5시까지 운영된다. 에듀메이커를 비롯한 7개 AI 기업이 참가해 다양한 AI 기술을 직접 체험하고 설명을 들을 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

On the same day, the AI Exhibition Hall in the Kara Hall will be open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Seven AI companies, including EduMaker, will showcase cutting-edge technologies through live demonstrations, interactive experiences, and hands-on exhibits available to all visitors.

#이선우 기획예산담당관은 "이번 포럼에서 제시되는 다양한 아이디어와 정책 제안을 적극 반영해 동해시의 AI 전환 과제를 구체화하고 실행력을 높여 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

Lee Sun-woo, Director of the Planning and Budget Division, said, "We will actively incorporate the ideas and policy recommendations generated through this forum to shape Donghae City's AI transformation agenda and strengthen its practical implementation."

이번 포럼은 단순한 기술 행사가 아니라 행정과 산업, 교육, 창업이 함께 연결되는 지역 혁신 플랫폼으로서 의미를 가진다. 동해시는 AI를 미래 성장동력으로 삼아 지속가능한 스마트 도시로의 전환을 본격적으로 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
