강릉시, 유네스코 창의도시 '강릉 미식 포럼' 개최

강릉시는 오는 7월 8일(화) 명주예술마당 대공연장에서 유네스코 창의도시 「강릉 미식 포럼」을 개최한다. 이번 포럼은 강릉 미식의 정체성과 미래 발전 방향을 시민들과 함께 공유하고 논의하기 위해 마련되었다.

Gangneung City will host the UNESCO Creative City "Gangneung Gastronomy Forum" on Tuesday, July 8, at the Main Hall of Myeongju Arts Center. The forum is designed to explore and share the identity and future direction of Gangneung's gastronomy with citizens and experts.

이번 포럼의 주제는 '강릉 미식의 정체성과 방향성 논의'이다. 세계적인 음식 다큐멘터리 제작자로 잘 알려진 이욱정 PD가 '미식 도시의 조건'을 주제로 기조강연을 진행하며, 이어지는 라운드테이블에서는 지역 전문가들이 참여해 '강릉 미식의 지속 가능성'을 주제로 다양한 의견을 나눌 예정이다.

The forum will focus on "Exploring the Identity and Future Direction of Gangneung Gastronomy." Renowned food documentary producer Lee Wook-jung will deliver the keynote speech titled "What Makes a Gastronomy City," followed by a roundtable discussion where local experts will explore the sustainability of Gangneung's culinary culture.

행사는 오후 2시부터 5시 20분까지 진행되며, 강릉 시민은 물론 강릉의 음식문화에 관심 있는 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 참가를 희망하는 사람은 구글폼 사전 신청 또는 행사 당일 현장 접수를 통해 참여할 수 있다.

The forum will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. and is open to all citizens and anyone interested in Gangneung's food culture. Participants may register in advance through Google Forms or sign up on-site on the day of the event.

강릉시는 이번 포럼을 통해 강릉 미식의 비전과 발전 전략을 시민들과 공유하고, 미식도시 정책에 대한 공감대를 넓혀 민관 협력 기반을 강화할 계획이다. 또한 포럼에서 제안된 다양한 의견을 향후 정책과 실행 과정에 적극 반영하여 유네스코 창의도시로서의 경쟁력을 더욱 높여나갈 방침이다.

Through this forum, Gangneung aims to share its vision and strategic direction for gastronomy while strengthening public understanding and collaboration between citizens and local stakeholders. The city also plans to incorporate ideas from the forum into future policies and implementation strategies to reinforce its competitiveness as a UNESCO Creative City.
