청년 채용하면 인건비 지원…동해시 참여기업 추가 모집

동해시는 지역 내 청년 일자리 창출과 고용안정 강화를 위해 「2026년 청년채움 고용장려금 지원사업」 참여기업을 오는 7월 9일까지 추가 모집한다.

Donghae City has extended the application period until July 9 for companies wishing to participate in the 2026 Youth Employment Incentive Program, aimed at creating quality jobs for young people and strengthening local employment stability.

이번 사업은 지역 중소기업이 청년을 정규직으로 채용할 경우 기업에는 인건비를, 청년에게는 교통비를 지원하여 기업의 고용 부담을 줄이고 청년의 지역 정착을 돕기 위해 마련됐다.

The program provides wage subsidies to local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) hiring young workers as full-time employees, while also offering transportation allowances to the employees themselves. The goal is to reduce hiring costs for businesses and encourage young people to settle in the region.

참여기업에는 신규 정규직 근로자 1인당 최대 10개월간 월 80만 원의 인건비를 지원하며, 채용된 청년에게는 월 최대 10만 원의 교통비를 별도로 지급한다. 올해 지원 규모는 총 10명이며, 이번 추가 모집을 통해 1명을 추가 선정할 예정이다.

Participating companies will receive up to KRW 800,000 per month for up to 10 months for each newly hired full-time employee. Newly employed young workers will also receive up to KRW 100,000 per month in transportation support. A total of 10 employees will be supported this year, with one additional participant to be selected through this extended recruitment.

신청 대상은 동해시에 본사 또는 영업소를 두고 상시근로자 5인 이상을 고용하며, 최근 3년 평균 매출액이 1,500억 원 이하인 중소기업이다. 또한 2025년 4월 1일부터 2026년 3월 31일 사이 청년을 정규직으로 신규 채용한 기업이면 신청할 수 있다.

Eligible applicants are SMEs with their headquarters or business offices in Donghae City, employing at least five full-time workers and recording an average annual sales revenue of less than KRW 150 billion over the past three years. Companies that hired young employees as full-time workers between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, are eligible to apply.

다만 유흥업 등 일부 제외업종과 공공기관, 휴·폐업 기업, 임금체불 사업주, 신용평가등급이 기준 이하인 기업 등은 지원 대상에서 제외된다.

However, businesses in certain excluded industries such as entertainment establishments, public institutions, suspended or closed businesses, employers with unpaid wages, and companies below the required credit rating are not eligible for the program.

신청은 7월 9일까지 동해시청 경제과 청년지원팀을 방문하여 접수하면 된다.

Applications must be submitted in person to the Youth Support Team of the Economic Affairs Division at Donghae City Hall by July 9.
