동해시가 청소년들의 건강한 성장과 다양한 활동을 지원하기 위해 북삼청소년센터를 준공하고 본격 운영에 들어갔다. 이번 센터 개관은 생활권 가까이에서 청소년들이 자유롭게 배우고 소통하며 꿈을 키울 수 있는 기반을 마련했다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

Donghae City has officially completed and opened the Buksam Youth Center to support the healthy growth and diverse activities of local youth. The new facility provides a convenient community-based space where young people can learn, communicate, and pursue their dreams.

34억 원 투입, 청소년 전용 복합공간 조성

KRW 3.4 Billion Investment Creates a Dedicated Youth Complex

북삼청소년센터는 총사업비 34억 원을 투입해 연면적 850㎡, 지상 3층 규모로 조성됐다. 센터에는 동아리실, AR 스포츠존, 댄스연습실, 뮤직연습실, 열린 휴게공간 등 청소년들의 다양한 활동을 지원하는 시설이 마련됐다.

Built with a total investment of KRW 3.4 billion, the center spans 850 square meters across three floors. It features club rooms, an AR sports zone, dance and music practice studios, and open lounge areas designed to support a wide range of youth activities.

청소년 정책 4년의 결실

이번 북삼청소년센터 준공은 민선 8기 공약인 ‘청소년의 일상을 존중하고 꿈이 실현되는 행복성장 기회 보장’을 실현하는 핵심 사업이다. 동해시는 지난 4년 동안 청소년 시설 확충과 진로·진학 지원, 교육격차 완화 정책을 꾸준히 추진해 왔다.

The completion of the Buksam Youth Center represents a key achievement of Donghae City's pledge to respect youth lives and provide opportunities for happy growth and dream realization. Over the past four years, the city has continuously expanded youth facilities while strengthening career guidance, educational support, and programs aimed at reducing educational disparities.

촘촘해진 청소년 성장 지원 체계

A Stronger Network Supporting Youth Development

동해시는 청소년수련관과 청소년상담복지센터, 향로청소년문화의집 기능을 강화했으며, 2023년 동해시청소년센터와 꿈빛마루도서관 개관에 이어 2026년 북삼청소년센터 준공까지 이어지며 청소년 성장 인프라를 지속적으로 확충해 왔다.

Donghae City has steadily strengthened its youth development infrastructure by enhancing existing youth centers and counseling services, opening the Donghae Youth Center and Kkumbit Maru Library in 2023, and now completing the Buksam Youth Center in 2026.

진로·진학 지원도 한층 강화

Expanded Support for Careers and Education

시설 확충과 함께 학교로 찾아가는 전문직업인 특강, 진로체험 프로그램, 맞춤형 입시전략 설명회, 학습전략 특강, 온라인 학습지원 사업 등 다양한 교육 지원 프로그램도 운영해 왔다.

Alongside facility expansion, the city has introduced various educational programs, including career talks by professionals, career exploration activities, customized college admission seminars, study strategy workshops, and online learning support services.

청소년이 머물고 성장하는 도시

Building a City Where Youth Can Stay and Thrive

현재 동해시는 동해시청소년센터, 청소년수련관, 향로청소년문화의집, 청소년상담복지센터, 북삼청소년센터를 중심으로 청소년 복지와 성장을 지원하는 체계를 구축했다. 이번 센터 준공으로 청소년들은 보다 가까운 곳에서 문화·체육·동아리·진로 프로그램을 이용할 수 있게 됐다.

Donghae City now operates a comprehensive youth support network centered around the Donghae Youth Center, Youth Training Center, Hyangro Youth Culture House, Youth Counseling and Welfare Center, and the newly opened Buksam Youth Center. The new facility will improve access to cultural, sports, club, and career development programs for local youth.
