동해시, 북평중학교 등굣길 아웃리치 운영

동해시는 6월 9일 북평중학교 정문 일원에서 재학생들을 대상으로 학교폭력 예방과 안전한 학교문화 조성을 위한 등굣길 아웃리치를 운영했다.

On June 9, the City of Donghae conducted a school outreach campaign at the main entrance of Bukpyeong Middle School to promote school violence prevention and foster a safer and more respectful school environment.

이번 아웃리치는 학생들이 학교폭력의 위험성과 심각성을 올바르게 인식하고, 서로를 존중하고 배려하는 건강한 학교문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에는 지도교사와 학생자치위원회가 함께 참여해 의미를 더했다.

The outreach program was organized to help students better understand the risks and consequences of school violence while encouraging a culture of respect, empathy, and mutual care. Teachers and members of the student council actively participated in the event, enhancing its impact.

이날 참가 학생들에게는 학교폭력 예방 퀴즈와 다양한 홍보물이 제공됐으며, 응원의 메시지를 전하는 시간도 마련됐다. 또한 청소년전화 1388과 청소년안전망 서비스를 홍보하며 위기 상황에서 도움을 받을 수 있는 상담 창구를 안내했다.

During the event, students participated in quizzes related to school violence prevention and received educational materials. Encouraging messages were also shared with students. In addition, information about the Youth Helpline 1388 and the Youth Safety Net support system was introduced, helping students learn where to seek assistance in times of need.

#천수정 체육교육과장은 “학생들이 학교폭력의 심각성을 인식하고 서로를 존중하는 건강한 학교문화가 더욱 확산되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들이 안전하고 행복하게 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 지원과 예방활동을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

#Cheon Su-jeong, Director of the Physical Education and Education Division, stated, “We hope students will recognize the seriousness of school violence and contribute to building a healthy school culture based on mutual respect.” She added, “We will continue to provide various support programs and preventive activities to ensure that young people can grow up safely and confidently.”

동해시는 앞으로도 학교, 지역사회, 청소년 기관과 협력해 학교폭력 예방 활동을 강화하고, 청소년이 안전하고 행복한 학교생활을 할 수 있는 환경 조성에 힘쓸 계획이다.

The City of Donghae plans to continue strengthening school violence prevention initiatives in cooperation with schools, local communities, and youth organizations, while working to create a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive.
