“예술로 머무는 한 달”… 동해시, ‘묵호감성마을 동해愛 한 달 살기’ 참여자 모집

체류형 관광과 문화예술 교류 결합… 예술인 대상 특별 레지던시 운영

동해시가 체류형 관광 활성화와 지역 문화예술 교류 확대를 위해 ‘묵호감성마을 동해愛 한 달 살기’ 참여자를 오는 6월 9일까지 모집한다.

이번 사업은 동해시민을 제외한 외부 입주자가 한 달간 묵호감성마을 내 입주시설에 머물며 동해시의 문화와 지역 고유의 매력을 체험하는 체류형 관광 프로그램이다.

모집 인원은 총 6명으로, 참여자는 아래 기간 중 한 달을 선택해 입주할 수 있다.

1차 : 6월 23일 ~ 7월 22일

2차 : 7월 28일 ~ 8월 26일

3차 : 9월 1일 ~ 9월 30일

입주 공간은 기존 주택형 공가와 함께 새롭게 조성된 아파트형 공가 중 선택 가능하다.

특히 올해 새롭게 운영되는 아파트형 공가는 지난해 12월 리모델링을 완료했으며, 에어컨·세탁기·침대 등 생활 가전과 가구를 갖춰 보다 쾌적한 체류 환경을 제공한다.

신청 대상은 예술인패스를 소지하고 입주 기간 동안 시민과 관광객을 대상으로 무료 재능기부 프로그램 운영이 가능한 예술인이다.

시는 참여 예술인들이 북토크, 원데이 클래스, 전시·공연 등 다양한 문화예술 프로그램을 운영하며 지역 주민과 관광객들에게 특별한 예술 경험을 선사할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

지난해에는 총 5명의 예술인이 참여해 다양한 문화예술 프로그램을 운영하며 시민과 관광객들의 큰 호응을 얻은 바 있다.

Donghae City Opens Applications for ‘Mukho Sensibility Village – Donghae Love One-Month Stay’

Donghae is recruiting participants for its “Mukho Sensibility Village – Donghae Love One-Month Stay” program until June 9, aiming to promote stay-type tourism and expand cultural and artistic exchanges within the region.

The program invites non-residents of Donghae to stay for one month in Mukho Sensibility Village, experiencing the city’s culture and unique local charm through an immersive residency-style tourism program.

A total of six artists will be selected, and participants may choose one of the following residency periods:

Session 1: June 23 – July 22

Session 2: July 28 – August 26

Session 3: September 1 – September 30

Participants can choose between traditional house-style vacant homes and newly renovated apartment-style accommodations.

The apartment-type residences, newly introduced this year, were fully remodeled in December last year and are equipped with essential appliances and furniture including air conditioners, washing machines, and beds, providing a more comfortable living environment.

Applicants must possess an official Artist Pass and be capable of offering free talent-sharing programs for citizens and tourists during their stay.

Donghae City expects participating artists to provide unique cultural experiences through activities such as book talks, one-day classes, exhibitions, and performances.

Last year, five artists participated in the program and received enthusiastic responses from both residents and visitors through various cultural and artistic activities.
