‘제19회 강원특별자치도장애인생활체육대회’가 오는 5월 18일 오후 4시 20분 동해체육관에서 열리는 개회식을 시작으로 3일간의 열전에 돌입한다.

The 19th Gangwon State Disabled Sports Festival will officially begin with an opening ceremony at 동해체육관 on May 18 at 4:20 PM, marking the start of an exciting three-day celebration of sports and unity.

2,565명 참가…17개 종목에서 뜨거운 경쟁

2,565 Participants Compete Across 17 Sports

이번 대회에는 선수단과 임원 등 총 2,565명이 참가해 당구, 사이클, 한궁, 탁구 등 17개 종목에서 그동안 갈고닦은 실력을 선보인다.

A total of 2,565 athletes and officials will participate in the event, competing in 17 sports including billiards, cycling, Korean traditional target game “Hangung,” and table tennis.

시민과 함께 즐기는 체험형 스포츠 축제

Interactive Sports Festival for Citizens and Visitors

개회식이 열리는 동해체육관 앞 광장에서는 7개 종목 체험부스와 체력인증센터가 운영되어 시민과 관광객들도 함께 체전을 즐길 수 있도록 했다.

At the plaza in front of the stadium, visitors will be able to enjoy hands-on sports experience booths featuring seven events, along with a physical fitness certification center, creating a festival atmosphere open to everyone.

강진·강혜연 축하공연으로 분위기 고조

Celebration Performances by Kang Jin and Kang Hye-yeon

개회식은 인기 가수 강진과 강혜연의 축하공연을 시작으로 선수단 입장, 개회선언, 환영사와 축사 등 공식 행사로 이어진다.

The opening ceremony will feature celebratory performances by popular singers 강진 and 강혜연, followed by the athletes’ parade, official opening declaration, welcome speeches, and congratulatory remarks.

관광도시 동해 매력 알린다

Donghae Promotes Its Tourism Appeal

체전 기간 동안 참가 선수단과 임원들은 무릉별유천지, 천곡황금박쥐동굴, 무릉계곡, 도째비골 스카이밸리 등 주요 관광지를 무료로 이용할 수 있다.

During the competition period, athletes and officials will receive free admission to major tourist attractions including 무릉별유천지, 천곡황금박쥐동굴, 무릉계곡, and 도째비골 스카이밸리 through their event ID cards.

동해시는 이번 체전이 장애인 생활체육 활성화는 물론 지역 관광과 경제 활성화에도 긍정적인 효과를 가져올 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Donghae City expects the event to contribute not only to the promotion of disabled sports but also to local tourism and the regional economy.
