동해시시설관리공단, 고객 참여형 수영장 안전훈련 실시

CPR·AED·경추손상 대응훈련… 시민 참여로 안전문화 확산

동해시시설관리공단은 지난 11일 해오름스포츠센터 수영장에서 고객이 직접 참여하는 ‘수영장 안전 모의훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

 이번 훈련은 심정지와 경추손상 등 수영장 내 안전사고 발생 상황에 대비한 현장 대응능력을 높이고, 시민 참여형 안전문화를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

 훈련에는 해오름스포츠센터와 복지회관 수영장 안전관리자 등 총 12명이 참여했으며, 시설별 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 대응훈련으로 진행됐다.

 해오름스포츠센터 수영강사와 안전요원은 익수자 발생 상황을 가정해 심폐소생술(CPR)과 자동심장충격기(AED) 사용 등 심정지 대응훈련을 실시했다.

또한 복지회관 수영강사와 안전요원은 다이빙 사고 등으로 인한 경추손상 상황을 가정해 응급처치와 환자 이송 요령 등을 실습했다.

 특히 이번 훈련에는 수상인명구조요원 자격을 보유한 고객이 직접 참여해 구조 협조자 역할을 수행하며 현장 대응 과정을 함께 체험했다. 공단은 훈련에 참여한 고객에게 감사의 뜻을 담아 ‘명예안전요원’ 위촉식도 진행했다.

CPR, AED, and Cervical Spine Injury Response Training to Promote a Safer Public Culture

The Donghae City Facilities Management Corporation announced that it conducted a customer-participatory swimming pool safety drill at the Haeoreum Sports Center swimming pool on May 11.

The training was designed to strengthen on-site emergency response capabilities for swimming pool accidents such as cardiac arrest and cervical spine injuries, while also promoting a citizen-participatory safety culture.

A total of 12 safety personnel from the Haeoreum Sports Center and Welfare Center swimming pools participated in the exercise, which was customized to reflect the characteristics of each facility.

Swimming instructors and safety guards at the Haeoreum Sports Center carried out cardiac arrest response training, including CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), under a simulated drowning emergency scenario.

Meanwhile, instructors and safety personnel at the Welfare Center practiced emergency treatment and patient transport procedures under a simulated cervical spine injury scenario caused by diving accidents.

Notably, customers holding lifeguard certifications directly participated in the drill as rescue assistants, experiencing the emergency response process firsthand. The corporation also held an honorary safety officer appointment ceremony to express appreciation for participating citizens.
