“요즘 학생들 왜 그럴까?”… 동해교육지원청, 교사 공감 소통 연수 ‘큰 호응’

강원특별자치도동해교육지원청(교육장 서순원)은 5월 8일(금) 동해교육지원청 대회의실에서 관내 및 인근 지역 교사들을 대상으로 ‘학생 이해를 위한 교사 연수 1’을 운영했다.

The 강원특별자치도동해교육지원청 held the first session of its “Teacher Training for Understanding Students” program on Friday, May 8, at the Donghae Office of Education conference hall for teachers from Donghae and nearby regions.

이번 연수는 ‘2026년 동해시 교육발전특구 사업’의 일환으로 추진되는 ‘교사·학생 배움의 길 함께 걷다’ 프로그램의 첫 번째 과정으로, 학생 문화에 대한 이해를 높여 교사와 학생 간 세대 격차를 완화하고 소통과 공감 중심의 생활지도 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

 The training was organized as the first session of the “Walking the Path of Learning Together: Teachers and Students” program, which is part of the 2026 Donghae Education Development Special District Project. The initiative aims to deepen teachers’ understanding of student culture, reduce the generational gap between teachers and students, and strengthen communication- and empathy-centered student guidance skills.

연수에는 현직 교사이자 교육 콘텐츠 전문가인 ‘참쌤스쿨’ 대표 김차명 교사(경기 광명서초)가 강사로 참여해 ‘학생 미디어 문화 이해를 통한 공감과 소통’을 주제로 강연을 진행했다. 강연에서는 학생들의 언어, 놀이, 소통 방식 등 실제 사례를 중심으로 학교 현장에서 적용 가능한 실천적 내용이 제시됐다.

 The lecture was delivered by 김차명, an active teacher and educational content specialist who leads “Chamssaem School.” Under the theme “Empathy and Communication Through Understanding Student Media Culture,” the session introduced practical strategies applicable in school settings, focusing on real-life examples of students’ language, play culture, and communication styles.

이번 연수는 관내 교사뿐 아니라 인근 지역 저연차 교사까지 참여 대상을 확대해 운영했다. 이는 교원 전보 등 지역 여건을 고려한 것으로, 교사 간 협력 기반을 강화하고 교육공동체 형성을 지원하는 데 의미가 있다.

 Participation in the training was expanded beyond local teachers to include early-career teachers from neighboring regions. Considering local educational conditions such as teacher transfers, the program aimed to strengthen collaboration among teachers and support the development of a broader educational community.

동해교육지원청은 이번 연수를 통해 교사와 학생 간 상호 존중과 정서적 유대감을 바탕으로 공감과 신뢰 중심의 교실 문화 조성에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

 The Donghae Office of Education expects the training to contribute to building classroom cultures centered on empathy and trust, grounded in mutual respect and emotional connection between teachers and students.

#서순원 교육장은 “학생들의 언어와 문화를 이해하는 것이 생활지도의 출발점”이라며, “앞으로도 저연차 교사의 소통 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하겠다”라고 말했다.

서순원, Superintendent of the Donghae Office of Education, stated, “Understanding students’ language and culture is the starting point of effective student guidance,” adding, “We will continue to provide diverse support programs to strengthen communication skills for early-career teachers.”
