어린이날을 맞아 열린 춘천 어린이 대축제에 가족 단위 시민들의 발길이 이어지며 행사장 곳곳이 하루 종일 웃음으로 가득 찼다.

On Children’s Day, the Chuncheon Children’s Festival drew a steady stream of families, filling the venue with laughter and joy throughout the day.

춘천시는 5일 호반체육관 일원에서 제104회 어린이날 기념행사를 개최하고, 공연과 체험, 놀이가 어우러진 다채로운 프로그램을 운영했다.

The Chuncheon city government hosted the 104th Children’s Day celebration on May 5 at the Hoban Gymnasium area, offering a wide range of programs combining performances, hands-on activities, and play.

행사는 강원일보 어린이합창단의 축하공연과 어린이 선서를 시작으로 마술쇼, 종이접기, 참여형 뮤지컬, DJ파티 등 다양한 무대 프로그램이 하루 종일 이어지며 어린이들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

The event kicked off with a celebratory performance by the Gangwon Ilbo Children’s Choir and a children’s pledge ceremony, followed by a full day of stage programs including magic shows, origami sessions, interactive musicals, and DJ parties, all receiving enthusiastic responses from young attendees.

이날 행사장은 이른 오전부터 어린이와 부모들로 붐볐으며, 공연마다 환호와 박수가 이어지고 체험 부스마다 긴 줄이 형성되는 등 높은 참여 열기를 보였다.

From early morning, the venue was bustling with children and parents, with cheers and applause erupting during performances and long lines forming at experience booths, reflecting high levels of participation.

야외 공간에서는 카트레이싱, 전통놀이, 소방안전체험, 미디어 체험이 운영됐으며, 에어바운스와 VR, 드론 체험존 역시 큰 인기를 끌었다.

Outdoor areas featured go-kart racing, traditional games, fire safety experiences, and media activities, while air bounce zones, VR, and drone experience areas also attracted large crowds of children.

또한 춘천소방서, 춘천경찰서, 강원대학교, 육아종합지원센터 등 14개 기관·단체가 참여한 공공부스에서는 심폐소생술 체험, 실종 예방 지문등록, 과학체험, 교통안전 퀴즈 등 다양한 프로그램이 운영돼 교육적 의미도 더했다.

Public booths operated by 14 organizations—including the Chuncheon Fire Station, Chuncheon Police Station, Kangwon National University, and the Childcare Support Center—offered CPR training, fingerprint registration for missing child prevention, science activities, and traffic safety quizzes, adding educational value to the event.

시는 행사에 앞서 철저한 사전 안전점검과 현장 관리, 안전요원 배치 및 동선 관리를 통해 행사장을 안정적으로 운영했다.

Prior to the event, the city conducted thorough safety inspections and ensured stable operation through on-site management, deployment of safety personnel, and effective crowd flow control.

시 관계자는 “어린이들이 마음껏 뛰놀고 가족이 함께 소중한 추억을 만드는 시간이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 아이와 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

A city official stated, “We hope this event allows children to play freely and families to create meaningful memories together,” adding, “We will continue to expand programs that families and children can enjoy together.”
