강원특별자치도는 글로벌 의료 인공지능(AI) 반도체 협력 강화를 위한 국제 협력의 장을 마련하며 미래 산업 선도에 나선다.

Gangwon State is taking the lead in future industries by hosting a global platform to strengthen cooperation in medical AI semiconductor technologies.

Three-Day Summit to Be Held at Yonsei University Mirae Campus

강원특별자치도(경제부지사 김광래)는 4월 27일부터 29일까지 3일간 연세대학교 미래캠퍼스 주관으로 ‘2026 글로벌 의료 인공지능(AI) 반도체 파트너 회담(서밋)’을 개최한다.

Gangwon State (Vice Governor for Economic Affairs, Kim Gwang-rae) announced that the “2026 Global Medical AI Semiconductor Partner Summit” will be held from April 27 to 29, hosted by Yonsei University Mirae Campus.

글로벌 AI 선도기업 대거 참여

Global AI Leaders to Participate

이번 회담은 지난해에 이어 두 번째로 열리는 행사로, 의료 AI와 반도체 산업의 최신 동향을 공유하고 실질적인 협력 전략을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

This summit, now in its second year, aims to share the latest trends in medical AI and semiconductor industries and explore practical cooperation strategies.

특히 엔비디아, 마이크로소프트, 삼바노바 등 글로벌 AI 선도 기업과 의료 산업 핵심 관계자들이 대거 참석한다.

Notably, global AI leaders such as NVIDIA, Microsoft, and SambaNova Systems, along with key stakeholders in the medical industry, will participate.

기술 발표·전시·네트워킹 진행

Presentations, Exhibitions, and Networking Sessions

주요 행사는 4월 28일 오전 9시 20분부터 진행되며, AI 글로벌 솔루션 등 3개 분야에서 12개 기업이 주제 발표를 이어간다.

The main program will begin at 9:20 AM on April 28, featuring presentations from 12 companies across three sectors, including AI global solutions.

참가자들은 최신 산업 트렌드와 연구 과제를 공유하고, 제품 데모 시연과 기술 상담을 위한 전시 공간도 운영한다.

Participants will share the latest industry trends and research topics, while exhibition spaces will showcase product demonstrations and provide opportunities for technical consultations.

아울러 기업과 연구기관 간 네트워킹을 통해 협력 방안을 적극 모색할 계획이다.

In addition, networking sessions will facilitate active exploration of collaboration opportunities between companies and research institutions.

219억 원 투자… 전문인력 양성 추진

KRW 21.9 Billion Investment for Talent Development

연세대학교 미래캠퍼스는 의료 AI 반도체 전문인력 양성사업단을 운영하며 총 219억 원을 투입해 인력 양성, 플랫폼 구축, 산학연 실증사업 등을 추진하고 있다.

Yonsei University Mirae Campus is operating a specialized training program for medical AI semiconductor professionals, investing KRW 21.9 billion in talent development, platform building, and industry-academia-research demonstration projects.

“Gangwon to Emerge as a Hub for Intelligent Healthcare”

#김광래 경제부지사는 “이번 회담은 강원이 보유한 의료 데이터와 반도체 산업 기반을 결합해 실질적인 기술 협력을 이끌어낼 계기가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Vice Governor Kim Gwang-rae stated, “This summit will serve as an opportunity to combine Gangwon’s rich medical data with its semiconductor industry base to drive meaningful technological collaboration.”

이어 “강원특별자치도가 미래 지능형 의료시대의 주역으로 한 단계 성장하는 밑거름이 될 것으로 기대된다”고 강조했다.

He added, “We expect this to become a foundation for Gangwon State to grow into a key player in the era of intelligent healthcare.”
