동해해수청, 업무혁신 위한 항로표지 연구모임 개최

동해지방해양수산청(청장 김채균)은 지난 4월 14일, 항로표지 분야의 규제 합리화와 업무 프로세스 개선을 위한 연구모임을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

The Donghae Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries (headed by Commissioner Kim Chae-gyun) announced that it held a research meeting on April 14 to streamline regulations and improve work processes in the field of aids to navigation.

동해해수청은 그동안 현장 직원들의 업무 역량 강화와 발전 방안 마련은 물론, 조직 내 반부패·청렴 문화 확산 및 갑질 예방을 위해 항로표지 연구모임을 지속적으로 운영해왔다.

The office has continuously operated the research group to enhance field staff capabilities, develop improvement strategies, and promote an anti-corruption and integrity-driven culture while preventing workplace misconduct.

올해 연구모임에서는 항로표지 시설물 정비 점검의 효율성을 높이고 조직 운영을 최적화하기 위해 ▲항로표지선을 활용한 해상 무인표지 점검 개선방안을 집중 논의했다.

At this year’s meeting, participants focused on improving the efficiency of maintenance and inspection of navigation aids and optimizing organizational operations, including discussions on enhancing inspection methods for unmanned marine aids using navigation aid vessels.

특히 ▲현장 직원의 실무 경험을 공유하고 ▲외부 전문가를 초빙해 규제 개선을 위한 심도 있는 토론을 진행하며 실질적인 해결책 마련에 힘을 모았다.

In particular, the meeting emphasized sharing practical field experience among staff and inviting external experts to conduct in-depth discussions on regulatory improvements, aiming to develop practical solutions.

지난 2025년 연구모임에서는 항로표지 적극행정 사례, 기능 유지를 위한 개선방안, 정비 점검 시 드론 활용 활성화, 선박 안전운항 개선사항 등 4개 과제를 성공적으로 수행하며 가시적인 업무혁신 성과를 거둔 바 있다.

In 2025, the research group successfully completed four key tasks, including proactive administrative cases in navigation aids, improvement measures for functional maintenance, expanded use of drones for inspections, and enhancements to vessel navigation safety, achieving tangible innovation outcomes.

동해해수청 관계자는 “이번 연구모임은 직원 간 소통을 통해 업무를 새로운 시각에서 바라보는 계기가 됐다”며 “단발성 과제에 그치지 않고 지속 가능한 업무개선이 이루어질 수 있도록 현장 중심의 혁신을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

An official from the Donghae office stated, “This research meeting served as an opportunity to view our work from a new perspective through communication among staff,” adding, “We will continue field-oriented innovation to ensure sustainable improvements rather than one-time initiatives.”
