불금전파에서 봄봄봄까지, 송정이 다시 숨 쉬기 시작했다

동해의 봄은 바다에서 시작된다. 그리고 그 바다 곁, 송정에서 사람들의 이야기가 다시 피어나고 있다. 한때 조용했던 골목과 상권은 이제 주민들의 손으로 다시 살아나고 있다.

Spring in Donghae begins by the sea. And beside that sea, in Songjeong, stories of people are blooming once again. Once quiet streets and local businesses are now coming back to life through the hands of residents.

이번 봄, 송정은 단순한 계절의 변화가 아니라 ‘사람이 만든 변화’를 보여준다. 주민들이 직접 기획하고 운영하는 도시재생 프로그램 ‘봄봄봄’은 그 중심에 있다.

This spring, Songjeong is not just experiencing a change of season, but a transformation created by people. At the heart of it is “Bom Bom Bom,” an urban regeneration program planned and run by local residents themselves.

오는 11일, 송정동 솔밭 벚꽃길과 동해항 군항에서는 ‘해군과 함께하는 송정 봄,봄,봄’ 행사가 열린다. 지역과 군이 함께 만들어가는 새로운 풍경이다.

On the 11th, the “Songjeong Spring, Spring, Spring with the Navy” event will take place along the cherry blossom pine grove and at the naval port of Donghae. It is a new landscape shaped together by the community and the navy.

오전에는 군항 부두에서 군함을 직접 보고, 해군특수전단의 장비를 체험하는 시간이 이어진다. 일상에서는 쉽게 닿을 수 없는 세계가 시민들에게 열리는 순간이다.

In the morning, visitors can explore naval ships and experience special warfare equipment at the dock. It is a rare moment when a normally distant world opens itself to the public.

오후가 되면 벚꽃 아래에서 음악이 흐른다. 해군 1함대 군악대의 연주와 통기타 포크 공연이 봄의 공기를 더욱 따뜻하게 채운다.

In the afternoon, music flows beneath the cherry blossoms. Performances by the Navy’s First Fleet band and acoustic folk musicians fill the spring air with warmth.

행사장 한편에는 아이들과 가족을 위한 작은 손길의 체험들이 마련된다. 네일아트, 도자기, 공예 엽서, 다도 체험까지—손으로 만드는 기억들이 쌓인다.

On one side of the venue, hands-on experiences await families and children. From nail art and pottery to craft postcards and tea ceremonies—memories are shaped by hand.

이 모든 변화의 중심에는 ‘주민’이 있다. 기획도, 운영도, 방향도 모두 주민협의체에서 시작된다. 도시재생이 건물이 아니라 사람에서 출발한다는 것을 송정은 보여주고 있다.

At the center of all this change are the residents. Planning, operation, and direction all begin with the local council. Songjeong shows that urban regeneration starts not with buildings, but with people.

이미 ‘불금전파 시즌2’를 통해 야시장과 먹거리 프로그램을 성공시킨 경험은 이번 봄 행사로 이어지고 있다. 그리고 그 흐름은 상권 회복이라는 결과로 이어지고 있다.

The success of “Friday Night Vibes Season 2,” with its night market and food programs, has carried into this spring event. And that momentum is translating into a revival of the local economy.

지금 송정에서는 또 하나의 변화가 준비되고 있다. 해군 장병과 주민이 함께 사용하는 복합공간, ‘이나비센터’가 조성되고 있다. 공간은 곧 관계가 되고, 관계는 다시 지역의 힘이 된다.

Another transformation is underway in Songjeong. The “Inabi Center,” a shared complex space for naval personnel and residents, is being developed. Space becomes connection, and connection becomes strength for the community.

송정의 봄은 화려하지 않다. 대신 따뜻하다. 누군가가 만든 축제가 아니라, 우리가 함께 만든 계절이기 때문이다.

Spring in Songjeong is not extravagant. Instead, it is warm. Because it is not a festival created by someone else, but a season created together.
