“월 10만원으로 720만원 만든다”…동해시 ‘청년 디딤돌 2배 적금’ 모집

동해에서 일하는 청년들에게 작은 희망의 저축 통장이 열렸다.

매달 10만 원을 차곡차곡 모으면 3년 뒤 두 배의 목돈이 되는 제도,

‘청년 디딤돌 2배 적금’ 참여자를 동해시가 모집한다.

A small but meaningful savings opportunity has opened for young workers in Donghae.

By saving just 100,000 won each month, participants can receive double their savings after three years through the “Youth Double Savings Program.”

이 제도는 강원특별자치도가 추진하는 청년 자산 형성 정책이다.

청년 혼자 저축하는 것이 아니라 기업과 지자체가 함께 적립하는 구조다.

This program is part of Gangwon State’s youth asset-building initiative.

Instead of saving alone, companies and local governments contribute together with the young worker.

매달 적립되는 금액은 다음과 같다.

청년: 10만 원

기업: 2만5천 원

강원도: 2만5천 원

동해시: 2만5천 원

The monthly contribution structure is:

Youth: 100,000 won

Company: 25,000 won

Gangwon State: 25,000 won

Donghae City: 25,000 won

이렇게 월 20만 원이 적립되며

3년이 지나면 본인 저축액의 두 배인 720만 원과 이자를 받을 수 있다.

This means 200,000 won is accumulated every month,

and after three years, participants receive 720,0000 won plus interest, double their original savings.

신청 대상은 동해시에 주소를 둔 청년 근로자다.

도내 중소기업에 재직하며 고용보험에 가입된 1981년~2008년생이면 신청할 수 있다.

Applicants must be young workers residing in Donghae.

Those born between 1981 and 2008, working at small or medium-sized companies in Gangwon and enrolled in employment insurance, are eligible.

또한 가구 소득이 기준 중위소득 150% 이하인 정규직 또는 무기계약직 근로자여야 한다.

Applicants must also be regular or indefinite contract workers with household income below 150% of the national median income.

올해 동해시에 배정된 인원은 17명이다.

다만 강원도 전체 신청자 가운데 평가 점수 순으로 추가 선발이 이루어질 수 있다.

Donghae has been allocated 17 participants this year.

However, additional participants may be selected based on evaluation scores among applicants across Gangwon State.

지난해에도 45명의 청년이 참여하며

지역 청년들의 목돈 마련 기회로 주목받았다.

Last year, 45 young workers participated,

making the program an important opportunity for youth financial stability.

동해시 관계자는 이렇게 말한다.

A Donghae city official explained:

“청년들이 지역에서 안정적으로 미래를 설계할 수 있도록

자산 형성과 장기 재직을 돕는 정책을 계속 확대하겠습니다.”

“We will continue expanding policies that help young people

build assets and establish stable careers within the region.”
