동해시, 위기청소년 보호 위해 범죄예방위원회와 맞손 상담·법률교육 협력 위한 업무협약 체결

동해시가 위기청소년 보호와 건전한 성장 지원을 위해 지역 범죄예방위원회와 협력 체계를 구축했다.

Donghae City has established a cooperative framework with the local Crime Prevention Committee to protect at-risk youth and support their healthy development.

동해시는 3월 11일 동해시청소년상담복지센터(학교밖청소년지원센터)에서 법무부 청소년 범죄예방위원 동해지구 위원회와 위기청소년 보호 및 선도, 청소년 비행 예방을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

On March 11, Donghae City announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Donghae District Committee of the Ministry of Justice’s Juvenile Crime Prevention Volunteers at the Donghae Youth Counseling and Welfare Center (Youth Support Center for Out-of-School Youth) to protect and guide at-risk youth and prevent juvenile delinquency.

이번 협약은 위기청소년을 조기에 발견하고 선도하는 한편, 지역사회 차원의 청소년 안전망을 강화하기 위해 양 기관이 상호 협력 체계를 구축하는 데 목적이 있다.

The agreement aims to build a collaborative system between the two organizations to identify at-risk youth early, provide proper guidance, and strengthen the community youth safety network.

협약에 따라 양 기관은

▲위기 및 비행 청소년에 대한 상담 연계

▲청소년 대상 법률교육 및 비행예방교육

▲범죄예방 캠페인 및 아웃리치 활동

▲청소년 선도·보호를 위한 공동사업 추진

▲지역사회 청소년 안전망 강화를 위한 정보 교류 등에 적극 협력하기로 했다.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will actively cooperate in:

▲providing counseling support for at-risk and delinquent youth

▲offering legal education and delinquency prevention programs for youth

▲conducting crime prevention campaigns and outreach activities

▲promoting joint projects for youth protection and guidance

▲sharing information to strengthen the local youth safety network.

#천수정 동해시 체육교육과장은 “이번 업무협약을 통해 법률적 전문성과 상담 자원이 유기적으로 연계되어 위기청소년에게 보다 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “청소년들이 건강한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 지역사회 안전망을 더욱 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Cheon Su-jeong, Head of the Physical Education and Education Division of Donghae City, said, “Through this agreement, legal expertise and counseling resources will be effectively connected, providing more practical support for at-risk youth,” adding, “We will continue strengthening the community safety network so that young people can grow into healthy members of society.”
