동해시 청년도전지원센터(센터장 김희태)는 지난해 사업 성과를 바탕으로 올해 모집 인원을 전년보다 8명 늘어난 총 104명으로 확대했다. 현재 참여 청년을 수시 모집하고 있다.

The Donghae Youth Challenge Support Center (Director Kim Hee-tae) increased the number of participants to 104 this year, up by 8 from last year, and is currently accepting rolling applications.

지난해에는 총 97명의 청년이 참여했으며 이 가운데 11명이 취업에 성공하는 성과를 거두었다. 취업 분야도 관공서, 병원, 공기업 등으로 다양했다.

Last year, 97 young people joined the program, and 11 participants successfully secured jobs, including positions in public institutions, hospitals, and public corporations.

청년 상황에 맞는 3단계 프로그램

Three Programs Tailored to Different Stages

청년도전지원사업은 청년의 준비 수준에 맞게 단기(5주), 중기(15주), 장기(25주) 과정으로 운영된다.

The program offers three tracks depending on participants’ readiness:

Short-term (5 weeks), Mid-term (15 weeks), and Long-term (25 weeks).

참여 청년들은 원하는 과정을 선택해 자신감 회복, 진로 탐색, 취업 역량 강화 교육 등을 받을 수 있다.

Participants can choose the program that suits them best and receive training in confidence building, career exploration, and job readiness skills.

장기반은 ‘자격증 취득 중심’ 실전형 과정

Long-Term Track Focuses on Professional Certifications

특히 장기 과정에는 자격증 취득을 목표로 한 ‘자격증반’이 운영된다.

The long-term track includes a certification-focused course designed to help participants obtain professional qualifications.

단순한 진로 탐색을 넘어 실질적인 직무 역량 강화와 취업 성과로 이어지는 프로그램이다.

This practical program goes beyond career exploration to build real job skills and connect participants with tangible employment outcomes.

취업 공백 청년 위한 맞춤 지원

Targeted Support for Youth Facing Career Gaps

이 사업은 일정 기간 취업·교육·직업훈련 이력이 없는 청년을 비롯해

자립준비청년, 청소년복지시설 입·퇴소 청년, 북한이탈 청년 등을 대상으로 한다.

The program targets young people who have experienced gaps in employment, education, or vocational training, as well as youth leaving care facilities, self-reliant youth, and North Korean defector youth.

참여자에게는 1:1 밀착 상담, 사례관리, 진로 탐색, 취업 역량 교육 등이 제공된다.

Participants receive one-on-one counseling, case management, career exploration, and employment training.

참여수당과 취업 인센티브 지원

Participation Allowances and Job Incentives

참여 기간에 따라 참여수당이 지급되며, 프로그램 이수나 취업 성과에 따라 추가 인센티브도 제공된다.

Participants receive allowances during the program, and additional incentives are provided upon completion or employment success.

청년의 미래를 응원하는 정책

A Policy Supporting Youth Futures

장기 1기는 2월 24일부터 25주 과정으로 시작했으며

단기 1기는 3월 5일, 중기 1기는 3월 11일부터 운영된다.

The first long-term cohort began on February 24, while the short-term program started on March 5 and the mid-term program begins on March 11.

현재 각 과정의 2기 참여자도 모집 중이다.

Recruitment for second cohorts of each program is also underway.

“청년도전지원사업은 청년들이 지역에서 미래를 설계하고 자립 기반을 마련하도록 돕는 핵심 정책”이라며

“청년 성장과 자립을 위해 행정적 지원을 계속 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

“This program is a key policy that helps young people design their future and build independence within the region.

We will continue expanding support for youth growth and self-reliance.”
