강원FC 3연속 K리그1 파이널A 도전…국제대회 8강 정조준

강원특별자치도(도지사 김진태)와 강원FC(대표 김병지)는 2월 25일 오전 10시 도청 브리핑룸에서 ‘2026 강원FC 비전 및 시즌 운영 계획’을 발표했다.

Gangwon State (Governor Kim Jin-tae) and Gangwon FC (CEO Kim Byung-ji) announced the club’s 2026 vision and season operation plan at a press briefing held on February 25 at the provincial government building.

3년 연속 파이널A·아시아 8강 목표

강원FC는 2026시즌 목표로 창단 최초 K리그1 3년 연속 파이널A 진출과 2025-2026 ACLE 8강, 2026-2027 ACL2 8강 진출을 제시했다.

For the 2026 season, the club set ambitious goals of reaching the K League 1 Final A for the third consecutive year—its first in club history—as well as advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2025–2026 ACLE and the 2026–2027 ACL2 tournaments.

구단은 이를 통해 K리그를 대표하는 명문 구단으로 자리매김하겠다는 비전을 밝혔다.

Through these achievements, the club aims to solidify its status as one of the premier teams in Korean professional football.

도비 130억 원 지원…재정 안정성 강화

KRW 13 Billion Provincial Support to Strengthen Financial Stability

강원특별자치도는 구단 지원금을 전년 120억 원에서 10억 원 증액한 130억 원으로 확대할 계획이다.

The provincial government plans to increase its financial support from KRW 12 billion last year to KRW 13 billion this year.

구단 또한 도내 유망 후원기업 유치를 통해 재정 기반을 더욱 탄탄히 할 방침이다.

The club will also seek promising local sponsors to further secure financial stability.

핵심선수 유지·유망주 육성 ‘선진형 구단’ 정착

Retaining Core Players & Developing Prospects

강원FC는 핵심 선수 유출 없는 베스트 일레븐을 유지해 K리그, ACL, 코리아컵을 병행할 수 있는 선수단 체계를 구축하겠다고 밝혔다.

Gangwon FC pledged to maintain its core squad, building a roster capable of competing simultaneously in the K League, ACL, and the Korea Cup.

또한 지역 인재 육성을 강화해 제2의 양현준·양민혁을 배출하는 ‘선진형 구단’ 모델을 정착시킬 계획이다.

The club will strengthen its youth development system to produce the next generation of stars, establishing itself as a modern, forward-looking football organization.

팬·도민과 함께하는 원팀 체계 구축

One-Team System with Fans & Community

팬클럽 ‘나르샤’와 도민, 구단 간 소통과 협업을 확대해 통합 원팀 운영체계를 확립할 계획이다.

The club plans to expand communication and collaboration with its supporters’ group “Narsha” and residents, forming a unified “One-Team” structure.

도내 유소년팀과의 연계 강화, 풋살팀 강원FS 지속 운영을 통해 지역 축구 생태계를 확대한다.

It will also strengthen ties with local youth teams and continue operating its futsal team, Gangwon FS, to expand the regional football ecosystem.

구단주 #김진태 도지사는 “강원FC의 성과는 도민 여러분의 열렬한 응원 덕분”이라며 “시대 변화에 유연하게 대응하되 도민에 대한 사랑과 승리에 대한 집념은 지켜가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Governor Kim Jin-tae stated, “Gangwon FC’s achievements are thanks to the passionate support of our residents. We will adapt flexibly to change while keeping our love for the people and our determination to win.”

#김병지 대표는 “이제는 결과로 보여줄 때”라며 “성적뿐 아니라 도민과 함께 성장하는 구단을 만들겠다”고 강조했다.

CEO Kim Byung-ji emphasized, “Now is the time to deliver results. We will build a club that grows not only in performance but also together with the community.”

시즌권 기부 릴레이로 나눔 실천

Season Ticket Donation Relay for Underprivileged Children

비전 발표에 앞서 2026년 시즌권 구매·기부 릴레이를 진행해 소외계층 아동을 위한 나눔을 실천했다.

Prior to the announcement, a 2026 season ticket purchase-and-donation relay was held to support underprivileged children.

구매한 시즌권은 사회복지협의회를 통해 도내 복지시설 아동들에게 전달될 예정이다.

The donated season tickets will be delivered to children at welfare facilities across the province through the Social Welfare Council.

강원FC는 ‘강하고 원대하게’라는 슬로건 아래, 성적과 지역 상생을 동시에 추구하는 도민구단으로의 도약을 본격화했다.

Under the slogan “Strong and Ambitious,” Gangwon FC is set to pursue both competitive success and community partnership as a proud provincial club.
