강원도립대학교(총장 최종균) 라이즈(RISE) 사업단은 12월 2일부터 3일까지 속초 롯데리조트 컨벤션에서 2025학년도 2학기 캡스톤디자인 경진대회를 열고 한 학기 동안의 실전형 프로젝트 결과를 공유했다.

The RISE Project Group of Gangwon Provincial University hosted the 2025 Fall Capstone Design Competition from December 2 to 3 at the Sokcho Lotte Resort Convention Center, presenting the hands-on project achievements of the semester.

9월부터 11월까지 총 5개 학과 9개 팀, 82명의 학생들이 참여해 지역 기반 문제 해결과 제품 개발을 목표로 프로젝트를 수행했다.

From September to November, 82 students across nine teams and five departments engaged in field-centered problem-solving and product development.

대상 — 명란조(바리스타제과제빵과)

지역 특산물을 재해석한, 감칠맛 나는 창의성

Grand Prize — “Myeongranjo” (Barista, Baking & Pastry Dept.)

A savory reinterpretation of local ingredients

속초 명란을 베이커리 소재로 재창조한 명란조 팀의 작품은 심사위원들의 마음을 사로잡았다.

The team “Myeongranjo” captivated judges by transforming Sokcho’s signature pollack roe into a creative bakery item.

지역 식재료의 새로운 가능성을 제시한 이들의 도전은

‘지역성(Locality)’과 ‘창의성(Creativity)’이 만나는 순간을 보여주었다.

Their fresh reinterpretation showcased a beautiful intersection of locality and creativity.

최우수상 — 스카이파이오니어스(드론융합과)

임무형 드론 플랫폼으로 미래를 설계하다

Excellence Award — “Sky Pioneers” (Drone Convergence Dept.)

Building the future with a mission-ready drone platform

탐색·정찰·측량 등 다양한 임무 수행을 고려한

다목적 드론 플랫폼 개발로 전문성과 실용성을 인정받았다.

Their multi-purpose drone platform—designed for reconnaissance, surveying, and search missions—earned high praise for its technical depth and field applicability.

라이즈사업단 최근표 단장은

“학생들이 아이디어 발굴부터 구현까지 전 과정을 경험하며 실무역량을 키웠다”며

향후 지역 기업과의 협업을 더욱 확대할 계획임을 밝혔다.

RISE Director Choi Geun-pyo highlighted that students gained real-world competence by participating in the full creation cycle and shared plans to expand collaboration with local industries.

이번 경진대회의 성과를 기반으로 산학협력 중심 교육 모델을 더욱 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

The RISE Project Group continues to strengthen practice-based programs connected to regional industries and aims to further expand its industry–academia cooperation model based on this year’s achievements.
