강원도립대학교-가천대학교, 창업 교육 혁신·디지털 제작 기반 협력 체결

강원도립대학교(총장 최종균)는 11월 28일, 가천대학교(총장 이길여)와 ‘창업 교육 혁신 및 디지털 제작 기반 협력 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다.

On November 28, Gangwon Provincial University (President Choi Jong-gyun) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Gachon University (President Lee Gil-yeo) to enhance startup education innovation and strengthen collaboration in digital fabrication infrastructure.

이번 협약식에는 강원도립대학교 최종균 총장과 가천대학교 김충식 특임부총장이 참석해 지역 기반 창업 생태계 조성과 창업 교육 혁신을 위한 공동 의지를 확인했다.

President Choi Jong-gyun of Gangwon Provincial University and Vice President Kim Choong-sik of Gachon University attended the signing ceremony, reaffirming their shared commitment to fostering a regional startup ecosystem and advancing entrepreneurship education.

창업 교육 프로그램·디지털 제작 장비 공동 활용

Joint Operation of Startup Education Programs and Shared Use of Digital Fabrication Equipment

두 대학은 △창업 교육 프로그램 공동 운영 △3D프린터·레이저가공기 등 실습 기반 디지털 제작 장비 공동 활용 △시제품 제작–테스트–시장 검증으로 이어지는 실전 창업 교육 환경 구축 등을 추진한다.

The two universities will jointly operate startup education programs, share digital fabrication equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters, and establish a practice-based entrepreneurial environment that spans prototyping, testing, and market validation.

이를 통해 학생과 청년 창업자의 실전 창업 역량을 강화하고, 지역 창업 인재 배출 확대를 기대하고 있다.

These initiatives are expected to strengthen the practical startup capabilities of students and young entrepreneurs, and to expand the pool of regional startup talent.

개방형 창업 플랫폼 구축·지역사회 참여 확대

Open Startup Platform and Increased Community Participation

또한 지역의 제조·디자인·디지털 제작 기반을 하나의 네트워크로 통합해 멘토링, 창업경진대회, 메이커톤, 실습 워크숍 등 다양한 창업지원 프로그램을 공동 운영할 계획이다.

The universities will also integrate regional manufacturing, design, and digital fabrication resources into a single network to jointly operate various startup support programs such as mentoring, startup competitions, makethons, and hands-on workshops.

해당 프로그램은 지역 주민과 예비 창업자에게도 개방해 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 개방형 창업 플랫폼으로 기능하게 된다.

These programs will be open to local residents and aspiring entrepreneurs, forming an open startup platform that grows together with the community.

산·학·연 공동 프로젝트 추진

Industry-Academia-Research Joint Projects

아울러 산·학·연이 함께하는 공동 프로젝트도 적극 추진해 신기술 기반 지역 문제 해결 모델 개발, 시제품 제작, 지역 산업 연계 연구 성과 확대 등 실질적 성과 창출을 위해 협력할 예정이다.

In addition, the two universities will actively promote joint projects involving industry, academia, and research institutes to develop technology-driven solutions to local issues, produce prototypes, and expand research outcomes connected to regional industries.

Gachon University Vice President Kim Choong-sik added, “Through this agreement, we hope the two universities will collaborate as one team to nurture creative and practice-oriented entrepreneurial talent.”
