강원특별자치도교육청, 2025 교육발전특구 성과공유회 개최

강원특별자치도교육청은 11월 25일(화) 오전 10시, 춘천시 남산면 엘리시안강촌에서 ‘2025 교육발전특구 성과공유회’를 개최했다.

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education held the “2025 Education Development Zone Performance Sharing Conference” at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, at Elysian Gangchon in Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon.

이번 성과공유회는 교육발전특구로 지정된 11개 시·군의 시장·군수, 교육장, 업무담당자 등이 한자리에 모여, 지난 10월 교육부가 발표한 ‘2024년 교육발전특구 시범지역 성과관리’ 평가에서 선도지역 4곳 모두 A등급을 획득하고, 관리지역 1곳이 선도지역으로 상향 평가되는 등 우수한 성과를 함께 축하하고, 성과 공유를 통해 향후 교육 및 지역발전 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련되었다.

This conference brought together mayors, county governors, superintendents, and officials from the 11 municipalities designated as Education Development Zones. Participants celebrated outstanding results from the Ministry of Education’s “2024 Pilot Education Development Zone Performance Assessment,” announced in October, where all four leading regions received an A grade and one management region was elevated to leading status. The event also aimed to explore future strategies for educational and regional development through shared insights.

◦ 2024년에는 10개 시·군이 시범지역으로 선정돼 첫 성과공유회를 개최한 바 있으며, 올해 홍천군이 추가로 선정되면서 대상 지역이 11개 시·군으로 확대되었다.

In 2024, ten municipalities were designated as pilot regions and participated in the first performance-sharing event. With Hongcheon County newly added this year, the target regions have expanded to eleven.

성과공유회에서는 △강원특별자치도 지방시대위원회 황학수 위원장의 축사 △도내 교육발전특구 시범지역 11개 시·군 시장·군수들의 소감 발표 △강원명진학교 학생들의 축하 공연 △한국교육개발원 임종헌 박사의 ‘교육발전특구의 현장 안착을 위한 방안 및 제언’ 특강이 진행되었다. 이후 △지자체별 사례 발표를 통해 시범사업이 본지정으로 전환되는 과정에서 정책의 안정성과 지속가능성을 확보하기 위한 협력 방안이 논의되었다.

The program included congratulatory remarks by Hwang Hak-su, Commissioner of the Gangwon Local Era Committee; reflections from the mayors and county governors of the 11 Education Development Zone pilot regions; a celebratory performance by students of Gangwon Myeongjin School; and a special lecture by Dr. Lim Jong-heon of the Korea Educational Development Institute on “Strategies and Recommendations for Embedding Education Development Zones in Local Contexts.” Subsequently, each municipality presented case reports, discussing cooperative strategies to ensure policy stability and sustainability as the pilot projects transition to official designation.

#서종철 정책기획과장은 “지역 여건을 반영한 교육과정 운영, 돌봄·진로·직업교육의 연계 강화, 지역인재 양성을 위한 지자체의 적극적인 투자로 교육발전특구가 이미 현장에서 체감되는 변화로 이어지고 있다”며, “강원교육은 지역과의 협력체계를 더욱 공고히 하고, 교육발전특구가 모든 아이들에게 실질적인 변화를 만들어낼 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Seo Jong-cheol, Director of Policy Planning, stated, “With locally adapted curricula, strengthened links between care, career, and vocational education, and proactive investment by local governments in nurturing regional talent, the Education Development Zones are already bringing tangible changes on the ground.” He added, “Gangwon Education will further strengthen collaboration with local communities and actively support the Education Development Zones so they can deliver meaningful benefits to all students.”
